JCena, a city or even town from the Colorado Mountains would be cool too, along with the cities you mentioned. I think Driver 1 became a PSone Greatest Hits, along with D2, so it qualifies in my opinion. It is an older game, so the new gamers might not have played it, but that doesn't mean it's not a killer game. A lot of new gamers never played Super Mario Bros (N), Sonic the Hedgehog 1 (Genesis), Pac Man (Arcade), Donkey Kong (Arcd), Mortal Kombat (Arcd), but they're still "Killer" games in the sense that they were very well known and a lot of money was spent to play them, at home or in the arcades.

I suppose that you're right, InsaneDriver06.

I understand what you're saying. Although, I don't feel that it's impossible to actually get something done like this in a game. It would take more time for the interiors to be done that of the Trains, buses, and whichever other vehicles you can ride as a passenger in, but I really think that people would like to see that in a game and I hope that we do see this kind of stuff in D5.

That gives me another idea, we could have different interiors of planes, trains, and buses. Like school buses could have just rows and rows of seats, coach buses could have TVs and cushioned seats, commuter trains and/or subways could have row-by-row seats with leather cushioning, and commercial airliners would have sort of the same interiors as passenger trains or coach buses as well.

Now InsaneDriver06 is a nut about passenger trains (I mean that in a good way man) . So with most passenger trains in Driver 5, I want it so they can have realistic consists of cars on the train. So of course we need motive power, we need at least one baggage car, at least 3 coaches, a dinning car, a sleeping car, and maybe an observation car. Of course, all passenger cars should have accurate interiors as well.

But luxury cars like the Fairview should have nicer interiors than cars like the Rhapsody

I would find it a great thing if we could have Reflections do all the vehicles with interiors so that we can simply zoom in and be able to see some really great interior within any vehicle that we look at. This would come in handy, especially if we are going to see a Dashboard view as a selectable camera view whenever comandeering any vehicle.

That would be a pretty big waste of texturing- considering most gamers wouldn't switch from the 3rd person view, and would never even see it.

That may be true, brok, but Reflections should always try to take precautions just in case other people will want that. I mean if they're going to make the graphics better, what could they possibly focus on that they haven't been spending much time on rather than the exteriors of vehicles, the people, and the environment? Interiors of places and of vehicles would be a great new addition, especially due to the fact that if you go into Dashboard view, you'd probably want to see some great textures for the vehicles. Otherwise it might just dissapoint you. See what I mean?

So John, do you like my idea about the interiors for buses, passenger trains, and planes that I mentioned yesterday? Including the idea I had for passenger trains? I'm on your side about seeing nice interiors too.

Yes. I do find it a great new thing that Reflections can focus on when it comes to the textures and if we see a Dashboard view for every vehicle, there should be a good reason why the inside of the car looks realistic because if it doesn't, people may find it dissapointing and I don't want that to happen.

OK that's cool.

As for more trains, I'd like to see these locomotives in Driver 5 (as secret rides). And yes, I did go cab riding on these locomotives. So I did ride them and it was fun!

New Haven Alco RS1 #0673

New Haven Alco RS3 #529

Alcos do produce a lot of smoke, so I'd like to see that as well.

Sounds cool. The little details, like transportation interiors, bring a game to life. Hopefully Reflections will have time for it after the main gameplay is completed.

Yes, plenty of players would be using the dash board view, as it puts you right into the action, so working on basic interior details, like dashboards, electronic gauges, steering wheels, shifters, seats, doors, etc, that were quick and easy to create for each ride would be an easy way to show interior views.

I think we did a poll six months ago, and most fans here said they'd like to see an interior dash view. I don't think anyone was opposed to it. I prefer new innovations in experiencing a game (dash view, basic detailed interiors), rather than just relying on the old camera views all the time, as important as they are. They don't have to go nuts on the details, just simple stuff if they have time.

I totally have to agree with you on this, InsaneDriver06. You make a certainly good point about why we need more camera views than just the ones that already exist.

There is only one problem with you choices of planes, Mr. Tanner, they can access speeds of higher than 300MPH, and at that speed, and high in the air, this would mean that the city would have to be the actual size, or enormous. I mean, it would be a thrill and challenge to fly around the skyscrapers, but it would also be a very hard task to do.
Aside from that, the rest all seem to be workable.

You do make a good point, Getaway Man, so if we're going to have aircraft in the game, especially planes, we'll need to be extremely carefully and not try to fly too fast because that could end up us crashing into a building or something.

All equally game city in the sizes will not coincide with real so also speed at self-summer should be "is artificial" is underestimated. On a proportion: real city/virtual city = real speed/virtual speed.

Unfortunately, right now, I'm at my school, using the computer and they don't allow any inappropriate content. Also, the computers are kind of slow so I didn't have the chance to watch the movie yet. Although, I will try to watch it and comment on it as soon as I have time for that and when I can actually have the chance to watch it.

Wow. I never knew it was that late. Well I do know that in Poland it's around 10 pm since it's 7 hrs ahead. That's just how the whole time zones work.

I understand.

Back to the topic, I think of something great. I know how much most of us must've enjoyed the car that you unlocked in D2 of Chicago, in the Chicago Cubs stadium and so what do you think of the idea of seeing it return in D5?
