Hello all, This is my first map called ONS-Jumpmonkey. Please give it a play. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
If anyone on the east coast can spare some server time I would apreshiate some play testing.

hmm!!! thats crazy!

You know! Why do you that stupid sky?
It looks stupid try to make a cool sky and not a falling sky!!!!!
Also are there some more pictures soo I can see what is more it the ons-map.
Then maybe I will give it a download change!

back off darkmonkey, it's better then most peoples tenth maps, and it's his FIRST. I imagion he blew your first map, if you ever opened the editor, out of the water...


ok, onto the crits.

skybox DOES need some work, maybe look at how some stock maps have theirs done, there are also skybox tutorials floating around.

the terrain textures need some work, but hey, I can't even do terrain yet, soooo.

the buildings look ace though. Good job !

thanks all

They sky needs work I will admit but i am running into issues with skyboxes, please see this post I am having issues where skyinfo actors are causing my map to freak out.
Also I can not get the map image for the ONS radar to load into the map??????
As to posting it on your sight I am honored! I would like to polish it up a bit, then I would be happy to have it on your site THANK YOU!

Had to rename the map! Had to take out the .2k4link. or what ever you had in the middle because the server wouldn't pick up the map. See ya!

Ok, your map has a lot of potential, but still needs work.

Things to improve:

1. Obviously the skybox, but that has been mentioned
2. A lot of the plants on the map are sticking off of the terrain or floating above it
3. The nodes need more cover, you can hit all of them except the cores from the other side of the map
4. You really need to put blocking volumes along the outside edges. You added cliffs that will ideally prevent people, but there are always some that want to get out there and probably will unless you add blocking volumes.

Other than that, its a pretty cool map. The building look nice and the bots seem to run well.

yes i agree with teh comments made from the above guy, nodes can be hit by tank very easily from a far, perhaps a chang ein elevation of some of these nodes

also i was able to get the manta stuck on several of the elevated platforms

this could be a very good map, nice work so far
