Lake Compounce, Bristol CT (updated 9-17 - Boulder Dash complete)

Thats right, SFNERules back for one last park before I am done with RCT3. I decieded to recreate Lake Compounce after being there a few days ago. As you know, the coasters won't be that amazing due to RCT3's limitations. I also don't have Soaked, so the slides will be dummies unless I end up getting a copy. Below are some very primitave pics of my progress. At this point, I would say I am about 5% rides, 50% landscaping, 0% sceanary and extras.

I am also recreating the Lake Compounce Wildcat (somewhat) on No Limits. The track will be alot more realistic than the RCT version. Here are some pics of that:

For the NL track, I would say 20% done with track work. I auto supported it for the pics.

I will keep you informed as both projects move along. Please coment...

I was up there sunday, had a great time other than my freind dosn't like rides. Anyway, 6 rides on Wildcat, one on Boulderdash, and one on Downtime. Wildcat was pure awesomeness, and of course, boulderdash. what more can be said about it. great coaster. Got one in on Zoomerang too, and boy do I hate Vekoma. Those new trains are horrible. Wll I think I should stop now as this is turning into a trip report rather than a recreation thread. Well, anything you can think of that I should addd to whats done?

Update 7-27-05

Just a quick update. Not much worth taking pics of. Boulderdash is nearing completion, but no trees are filled in yet. Ill post pics when thats done. Also began work on the Wildcat. Dosn't look too great due to the limitaions of RCT3, but its close. After those two coasters are done, its smooth sailing .

Also, not much work done on the No Limits version of Wildcat. Did a few tweaks, but nothing noticeable in pics. I'll probibly end up working on that for the rest of the night, maybe a pic update of it by tonight. Anyways, thanks for the coments .

Well, it's been a while. I restarted because I have a new computer. Both Projects are starting to take shape. I have finished Boulder Dash, and it whips over the hills just like the real thing. Some things on it had to be changed, because of the grid. The lift isn't steep enough to fit right, so now on the first drop, you get a head chopper. Also, because paths don't fit right, I have taken some minor turns out of the track (which countor the mountian). Here are some pics of the complete Boulder Dash, and please, if you know the coaster better than I do, correct me.

I have also done alot to the Wildcat in NoLimits. I won't post pics yet, because right now it looks like a mess. I'm still trying to guess the angles in. Pics soon. Please comment.

A couple of pics of the NoLimits Wildcat. I am currently tweaking the fancurves and some of the bunny hills. I expect to be starting final supports tonight.
