In 2036, a great deal of effort is going into "repairing" our environment. I was sent to 1975 to get a computer system and take it back to 2036. Time travel is not a secret in 2036 and I expect it will become more common.

Time travel was really common in the Stone Age when somebody lost a time travelling device there, but not later, except for even later.

LOL
What the hell are you doing talking S'hit on a UT forum in 2003 then?

BTW, time travel is very common here. Almost everyone time travels at a rate of about 86400 seconds per day.

The first "leg" of my trip was from 2036 to 1975. After two VGL checks, the divergence was estimated at about 2.5% (from my 2036). I was "sent" to get an IBM computer system called the 5100. It was one the first portable computers made and it has the ability to read the older IBM programming languages in addition to APL and Basic. We need they system to "debug" various legacy computer programs in 2036. UNIX has a problem in 2038.

In my time, it is known that the 5100 series is capable of reading all the IBM code written before the widespread use of APL and Basic. Unfortunately, there are none left that anyone can find on my world line.

Ever heard of a guy named Howard Stern? He has a radio show you should go on, you could reach more people with your tales of time travel.

Ok tell me how many days are in a year then. Seeing as you are a traveller in time this should be easy for you.
I'm going to say "wrong" in advance and go to bed now.

The only 'Palladium' I am aware of is a program invented by Microsoft. Microsoft does not exist in 2036. Most large businesses cease to exist after the war.

LOL, you're not very well educated for a time traveller.
It seems you only know about things a computer nerd from 2003 would know about.. oh wait..

That simply dosn't make sense. Microsoft is the key software provider for US millitary operations. War = for microsoft.

Oh yea, Palladium isn't a program.. Its a gwad damn OS that's ready to destroy PC.

You falsely assume that the world as you know it today exists in 2036. I was born in 1998 so I know little of the world before the war.

Jack Sparrow: Why is the rum gone?!
Elizabeth Swann: One, because rum is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two, that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire royal navy is out looking for me; do you really think that there is EVEN the slightest chance that they won't see it?!
Jack Sparrow: But why is the rum gone?!

Large businesses thrive after the war.
Well, except every busines having anything to do with oil, petrol, gas, old-skool cars, that kind of thing.
Time travelling makes innocent brain cells die until they are dead.

It is difficult to describe 2036 in detail without spending a great deal of time explaining why things are so different.

In 2036, I live in central Florida with my family and I'm currently stationed at an Army base in Tampa. A world war in 2015 killed nearly three billion people.

Ok, so tell me how many days (or better hours) are in a year. Seeing as you are a traveller in time this should be an easy and obvious question.

If you're going to try and invent a persona, try and make it a little more convincing than a matchstick fabrication that wouldnt stand up to gnats fart on a still summer day. I blow a rasberry in your general direction.
Oh dear, did the albino monkey men steal your time machine?
