Yay I made it into the honarable mentions, although I'd have been really happy to see it in the finalists, I seriously doubted making it there anyway, as my movie was still very much a work in progress.

First off, congrats to all the honourable mentions. Each film is an inspiration toward the potential this medium has. Please continue to make great films.

Secondly, to the finalists. We're all on the playing field now. Lets turn it up and really get things going for the Grand Finals. Bring it on!

Finally, Jeff, would it be possible to confirm you will be sticking with November 15th date for final submissions into the Grand Finals. If there is going to be any slippage, it would be good to know now as we plan our final tweaks for competition. This is under the assumption that all real-time movie finalists are eligible for placing within the Grand Finals.

I was in the same boat as you, and damn hell we all kicked some ass - I too had never touched matinee, nor UEd for that fact, before my entry for this competition - and it just goes to show, how with a little guidance (cheers 3dbuzz) and a little perseverance, how anything can be achieved, and how the tools totally rock!

wow i was very impressed with the movie bot
you know how you watch any movie and you can predict the ending
well not with this movie , its a slow movie and usually i like action
but for some reason you just got to know how this movie ends
and i wasnt disapointed since i wasnt expecting that kind of ending , and the soundtrack rocks :-)
