You know i should really get my 59 year old dad back into Brawl. He was great at playing Melee back in the day. I wonder if he would be tough and skilled enough to learn enough Brawl to take names with you Tim.

Though I don't ever want anyone slacking up on me. It is what drives me to try and stay competitive. Like I said before, Hec made Brawl addicting. (before your Pikachu became a pain) All those defeats he gave me with his Zelda. Well...it changed my gaming life forever. I quit playing everything else but Brawl. Intent on beating Hec's Zelda. Got there too.

I hope there never was any slack! I'll take my beatings with dignity please. Don't mind that I am older, I can try and play aggressively too. I can at times put some muscle behind my Charizard.

he should just buy a new Wii. They dropped the price now. If he is gone, then a legend has passed from among us. I would be truly saddened. Afterall, he gave Brawl new meaning. I for a little while fell off from Brawl as well, but I started coming back and have kept 4 appointments with you all. I plan to keep it too on Saturday nights.

Many are dropped off from playing. Grid, MarineDM, Metal Gogeta, Playaat, OWN1N, Kat, Jala, and a few others. So far its just you, Zach, MysticGospel, Avalod, L Lawliet and me.

I still have yet to learn all those advanced techs with squirtle and charizard. And yeah well....i need more practice. It was quite fun using fox against you and Zach earlier. i might consider playing with him more often starting now.

well there are some techs for Squirtle and Ivysaur to use and a little bit for Charizard. Though some of the Squirtle techs, I don't know how to execute them fully. Ivysaur has a couple, and I can do one of them, but the other is a bit strange. Charizard has only one I know of, and I can semi do it. Though in a heated match, it would be hard to pull off and I don't see anyone else doing it.

Hey guys, just got back from the tournament and I did awesome. I got 3rd place and won $25. The competition was pretty tough though. This one guy who used Falco was a pain in but, because he was good at spamming Falco's laser in the air and the reflector. At one of the matches at the beggining, I was scared, because I was facing a Metaknight user, but he turned out to not being very good with him as I though he would be.

There was this kid that was good with Pikachu, especially with his quick attack. He always stopped me from taking out my bananas, but I eventually turned the tables when I got him tangled with him slipping on both of my banana peels.

Snakes.... Boy, do I hate Snakes. I had to play against a very good Snake player close to the end, who literally killed me.... He was very good at landing the grenades at the right spot, also he's good with using the C3 bombs while he's falling or tying to get back on the stage. He used the sliding motaor a lot too.

Well, that's pretty much all the props I have for the people I've faced. I'm very satisfied at how far I got in the tournament and I had a lot of fun.

Hey Sach and Mystic, just to let you know, I didn't drop out the match that was trying to start. My router signal dropped a moment and I reset it right quick. I went back online, but I see Mystic as online, Zach as online and Sach & Jala offline. I don't know what happened, but I am still online at the moment. Is anyone hosting?

For the most part, we had some nice games and even Jala showed up.

I pulled out Hec's color of ZSS and his favorite Zelda color (when you haven't made him angry because you beat him in a match ). I made a few recovery blunders, but forgive me, I don't normally play them. I just pulled them out for nostalgia and to see if I could create a little terror on Final Destination. Had fun as usual and we had pretty good connection for all 4 of us online.

Well I played a few matches with Zach 1 on 1. Zach that repeated catching my skull bash with that Kirby suction was just hilarious. You seemed to enjoy that move. LOL! I can't recall, but did I win that first match? I know I won the match where I brought in Team Green against your Samus. (metal form)

Had another router reset to do when w were fighting Zach. I don't know why it happened twice tonight. Looks like a need a new Gamecube controller as well. Seems my up B is not working like it should. Shucks...always something to spend for.

Enjoyed the matches earlier Sachiel in our 1 on 1s. Looks like Jiggly is getting a little bit better. Still a floaty problem though. Yet I got some good hits in on the 1 on 1s and also the FFAs where I used Jiggly.

Had fun using the other Pokemon of mine, and I got a meteor spike kill tonight in FFA using Charizard.

Nice games everyone, and I will be back next week.

Well nice evening guys. Nice games. I hoped you all liked the little "surprise" I had for you with playing a familiar person's characters, using his taunts, colors and screen name. I was trying to bring back some of the terror of the past. I thought you all might get a kick out of that. Even won one with Hec's Zelda tonight. Played some 1 on 1s after Sach left with Zach and he is hard to catch sometimes. LOL! That last Toon Link and Yoshi match I was a bit perplexed, but I fought Zach down to 1 stock. I guess it was an amusing evening guys.

Will be back next weekend, maybe sooner I might play Wednesday.

Great battles that we had Tim last night. And your surprise was how should i put it.....very nostalgic if not annoying. LOL. I can't believe you actually went ahead and changed your name tag to HEC and even incorporated his taunts into your own. Wow.

In terms of the battles themselves though.....your not HEC. lol. But you did put up a good fight with a few of the characters. In particular you did great with Zelda and Toon Link. Those two were the standouts in my opinion. You nearly beat me with Zelda and Toon Link in those one on ones. Although you still have a long way to go. You certainly brought out the spirit and a similar (if not under-developed) fighting style that HEC used to use.

Your other surprise that you gave me was your Pikachu. By god, you've done it Tim. You seem to be using Pikachu as i used him about a year ago. I saw some good use of Quick attack cancels and nice use of aerials and grabs. And those chain grabs you used on my fox. EXCELLENT WORK TIM! Its a very clever move to use that dthrow on my fox. I can't escape that if you use it constantly. At least not until i reach 50% damage. LOL.

But if theres one thing you need to improve upon. Its this... Your recoveries to put it bluntly....suck. You really need to work on them if your going to beat anyone anytime soon. I mean i was thinking to myself in many of those matches. By god Tim youve come such a long way but you still keep on self-destructing missing the ledge by leaps and bounds at times. You got to improve your recovering with all characters....whether it be using Pika, Zelda, Toon Link or whatever.

*NOTE: It was very funny to see my fox falling asleep after i zipped through your singing Jigglypuff with my fox and his side B attack. I ended up curled up and asleep on the other side of the stage. Hilarious!!!

Well thank god we had a stable connection when we joined. There was some lag but it wasnt too bad. Nice free for alls indeed. And i do concur.
Those matches were some of the best battles i've had in MONTHS. Some standout wins against you i thought were interesting included that one with Zelda and Sonic. Can't believe my Zelda managed to get you guys both. LOL. And the Sonic edgehogging on Tim in that free for all was epic! The rest of the match with Sonic vs. Falco was epic as well. Can't believe i managed to do all those short hopped aerials and homing attacks on you Zach. That last win with the Spring combo sending you flying into the air was awesome! Maybe i should pick up using Sonic sometime. Heh.

*Note:
I tried to be as random and unpredictable with Sonic as possible. Mixing up my moves with aerial dodges and even jumping off the stage and coming back at the most unexpected moments. Good matches Zach. Your Falco was a big challenge.

yeah I had a strange problem last night recovering with Pika. Why I don't know. I guess it was the tension. When I played against Avalod, I was more connected to myself and there was less tension. I played him to the best I could. Had about only 2 recovery mistakes. I won 2 matches with Pika off him. It was tough and he was brutal with that sword and his gamestyle of attacking. I can do pretty well with recoveries against the level 9. I don't know why I made some goof ups. I guess I have to keep tension under control when playing the top players here. Some of my quick attacks were not complete.

yeah that was funny, but its an actual side effect if you zip through Jiggles sing attack.

Also in general most of the guys around here have seemed to have improved their playstyle. Tim has especially made many improvements here and there. He's certainly much more able to execute his moves than ever before. Faster on his feet too. He's one to watch out for and should give you more trouble than he did 8 months ago.

Well it's Saturday, I shall be on at about 6 or 7PM my time (MST/-7GMT), am working a few kinks out with my SD Loader so I can just have infi reply time going. Might need to get back with someone on if other people need the replay code as well or if it is just a client/system side thing.
