Just curious -- are you staying at the Radisson at Knott's? It's very convenient -- you can walk to the park from the hotel, rather than mucking about with parking. Also, Snoopy visits the lobby at night, wearing sleeping gear, in order to wish everyone goodnight.

If you get the chance, get some of Mrs. Knott's chicken, even if you need to get it at the To Go location. (The lines for the restaurant get very long very quickly, and seem to stay that way for much of the day!) I'm not generally too wild about chicken, but I thought the Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner was excellent.

Enjoy!

MAn you get to go to Knotts berry Farm! Man the only parks I have been to have been The Boardwalk, santa cruz, Six Flags Marine world, Vallejo And Worlds of Fun in Kansas. But I say I have heard a lot about Knotts berry Farm and I wish I could go to.

Very pleased!

I myself was out in California last week and had a chance to go to Knott's. I was actually on my honeymoon, and although my husband doesn't like coasters in general, he agreed to go to Knott's because he loves the Peanuts gang and I knew the shopping alone could keep him busy while I rode a few select coasters. I was there on a Wednesday evening, and despite being close to the holiday, I was very pleased that the lines were short. I rode GhostRider, Jaguar, and at long last Xcelerator. GhostRider was a great ride, though bumpy like most woodies...I always felt like it was very fast, almost out of control...plenty of air time! Jaguar was about what I expected...nothing too thrilling, but fun anyway. When we arrived at the park, I got a little nervous because I didn't see Xcelerator running....and sure enough, when we got to that area of the park, it was closed...but there was someone there at the entrance. Even though he didn't really have any answers, it kept my hope up that the ride would re-open, since they could have easily just put a closed sign in front and left it for the night. But just as we were leaving Jaguar and getting ready to go home, I saw people on the loading platform and practically dragged my husband over. It had just opened and I got on in less than 20 minutes. What a ride! Now I really can't wait to go on TTD at Cedar Point, since I love the nearly vertical climb and descent! Overall we had a great experience...Mrs. Knott's Chicken (To Go) was great! And when my husband saw an item in a store window that the stores were all sold out of, a woman working in one store offered to call him all the way back here in NY and send him one when the item came back in...very classy. The park is themed very nicely, also, which was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed Knott's a lot and recommend it to anyone visiting the area--but beware of Route 5 North from San Diego...

Hey now it is not that bad if you use the carpool lane. In fact you take take the carpool from about 25 miles north of Oceanside all the way to just about Knotts.

They are going to be meeting another great coaster rider from this place and doing Knotts and SFMM. That will be a great few days.

You're supposed to say you can't wait for our honeymoon and you are excited to go back to Knott's with your wife, whom you love very very much!
