My bright idea: A REAL RollerCoaster Tycoon amusement park!

Wouldn't it be awesome if they made a RollerCoaster Tycoon amusement park? There'd be rides, shops and stalls, scenery and everything else just like in the game! There could even be handymen, mechanics, security guards and entertainers that look like the ones in the game! It'd be so funny and I'm sure it would be popular. They could even have some of the rides Chris Sawyer made for the game, such as "The Exterminator" and others.

Ya, know that's not a bad idea. I'd go to a park called RCT. They could ask for ideas submissions for ride types and even have a coaster design contest, with the coaster named after the contest winner.

Because it would be millions to import the land types like SAND, and just to build the rides! admission would be like $100!!!

Millions wouldn't be much for a great amusement park. And I think it would be worth making. Look at all the other great amusement parks, they cost millions too, and are doing great or they wouldn't be open!

I don't know about this one. Just think, getting off a coaster or simple thrill ride and walk in puke knee high. Not very appealling to me. And what real life handyman would stay at a job where all he does is clean puke all day long while the whole world watches. Hmmmmmm.

Um.... most amusement parks have rides, shops, scenery and staff. And since the rides in RCT are based off of real-world rides its kinda a moot point. Unless you're talking "Holy Land" in Flordia...

I meant they'd look just like the ones in the game. For example, the entrances and exits to the rides, the park entrance and the shops and stalls would look just like in the game, they wouldn't look like regular ones you would see at an amusement park. Did you ever go to an amusement park where they had a seperate shop for fries and another one for hamburgers? Stuff like that would make it like the game.

Why would anyone want to go to a park to stand in line to get fries, then go stand in another line to get a burger/hotdog, then yet another line to get a drink just so you can have a complete meal? I know I wouldn't.

Because it would be awesome to go to the park, even if you did have to wait in line a long time and stuff.

Chris Sawyer is the one who owns RCT, and he could have someone else build the park. He wouldn't have to own it, he could just get some of the money or something.

That's exactly how I want to spend my time. Waiting hours upon hours in line. One line for a burger, then another for a coke, etc. That is the stupidest idea ever. I worked at a theme park, and if you really think people want to stand around all day after paying $40 to get in, I want to be there when you are told off by thousands of guests PER DAY!!

They wouldn't have to have all the shops and stalls sell only one thing, but they would be like the shops and stalls in the game. For instance, a donut shop would sell donuts as the main item, but they could also sell other stuff too!!

Geeze, a lot of you guys are being idiots. He said "Wouldn't it be cool...", not "Help me think of every reason why this would not be possible and why it wouldn't work." An RCT themed park would be awesome.

Yeah I agree if it were put into practice it might not be so great but the idea of it sounds interesting. I have to admit, I've never played RCT but EATPASTE was showing it to me tonight and some of the stuff was pretty cool. You know, I don't even eat meat but I would buy a hamburger if it was sold in a place that looked like a hugiant hamburger! How awesome would that be?
