Well as my original name would suggest X is what I think is the best coaster. Bummer that I can't ride it more often.

That must be In DIsney World because I work at Disneyland. But by far and away X IS the best rollercoaster in the world. Its in a class of its own. O yes... I wanted to give an honorable mention for Scream at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Very fun ride.

Personally, I like "Stealth" ant Paramount's Great America, CA. But I just started liking coasters and this is the only semi extreme park near by. There are probally beter coasters everywhere else. Oh well. Come and fly on Stealth!

Yes X owns and Sream is a great coaster it is nowonder that SFI has put it in 3 parks. SFGA, SFMW, and SFMM. Though Scream it starting to get a few bumps as you hit the bottom of the first drop going into the first loop. But other than that it is a very smooth B&M coaster. Best part the ZERO G ROLL!!! And Fasterthanlight head on over to SFMW. They have a few neat little coasters there. Roar, Kong, Medusa(nice one), V2, Boomerrang(who does not have one?), and new this year Zonga(a renamed/relocated coaster). I myself can't wait to get up to the bay area and ride them, next month. |

Well i love TTD and i love MFer and magnum is just awesome, but it really depends on what kind of mood i am in. good long steel MFer hands down, Upside down, it would have to be Batman Knife fight! Lauch, well you know it isn't an Anton shuttle loop, it is TTD. I think Magnum still today has one of hte best first hills of any coaster. Out of them all i would have to go with MFer, it is sooooo huge and sooooo smooth, its no wonder it is voted the best steel coaster in the world!

Yeah I agree, I love different rides for different things but overall I think it would be Millennium Force for me too.

Good! Get out of the Raptor line! That ride's mine! (Proceeds to shove people out of the way while heading for the front-right seat)

For Raptor, i like back row furthest one in i believe that is the right side of the train, that is my fave, nice whipping action, the forces are incredible

Back is very good, but the right side of the train is better than the left side. And, I still feel right front is the best roller coaster seat I've ever experienced on any coaster.
For Talon at Dorney Park, forget the back. For that one, the front's a must, but the front left is actually better than the front right.

Harpo I think you missed the joke in my reply. I have never riden Raptor so I would not know which is better. Now that being said I am a movie fan and am known to quote lines from movies when needed. For example in a PM I sent someone I titled it "Your killing me smalls" from The Sandlot. The line I used back and to the left is from JFK. The courtroom to be exact. When Costner's character keeps replaying the film back and to the left, over and over.

Ah. Sorry, never saw JFK. I tend to focus more on comedy films.
It's not really a comedy (although parts are funny), but did anyone here happen to see "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind?" There's one scene at an amusement park. The scene was filmed in a background area at Knott's Berry Farm. The wooden coaster in the back of the scene (with the orange lights) is GhostRider.

I havent ridden Magnum XL-200 yet cuz I haven't been out there (I live in Jersey). It seems to be everyone's favorite, but it sounds like something that can kill me.

I think late spring or early summer is the best coaster period, mild temperatures won't make the waiting lines a torture, you're ahead of the school holidays and less chance of rain and bad weather.
