Favoritre poses for on ride pics

Well readingthe waiting in line for TTD was wondering what your favorite pose for on ride photos is?

Mine is arms in an X in front of me with the rockstar face on. Oh yeah gotta have the Oakleys on also, even in the dark.

Usually a simple wave. Sometimes a thumbs-up. On the REALLY scary coasters (like Woodstock's Express), I'll do a "Home Alone" face-slap-of-terror pose.

well I'm always looking for new and creative poses but not always finding them...the one the other paste and I have been using lately on Magnum is the "dead pose". We just go limp and close our eyes and look like we're dead...I did that when I rode with my brother and he said it looked very convincing. But I'm always open to new ideas.

Well, the only coaster that can actually catch me off gaurd is Raptor, I actually dont make a face and act the way I am while riding. Now, on other rides, I usually make something up every time. If it be looking confused at the camera, or giving my sis a noogy, it has to be original. my favorite would have to be pointing at the camera with both of my hands like they are guns, and smiling. It may not sound funny, but I did it while riding MF, and 3 people in the photo shop laughed outloud to my expression.

For some reason the camera always seems to get me off guard. So its kind of hit or miss if its a good pic or not.

Once when I was at Alton Towers my friend bought this pic of me him and another one of my friends and the camera got me with my mouth wide open looking like a total prat... But it wasn't so bad because my friend behind me looked terrified.

hahaha i like to just look at the cameras and give a little wink and a smile while pointing to it like "hey sexy" type thing, its fun stuff!! i do that on the magnum. or ill just look like im totally not happy with the ride, like i hate it, i tend to do that no the millenium force. Or if theres me and 3 friends sitting by eachother on the magnum, we tend to acttack eachother, i actually bought one of those pics, fun stuff there!!!!

At SFWOA a few years back, two guys pulled their shirts up over their heads when they went by the camera. It sorta looked like they were ghosts! It was really funny, so the stand kept the picture up there for the whole summer! Everyone who came to look at the pics bust up laughing at that one!

On Loch Ness Monster this year, two friends and I did the "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." bit. We've done the classically bored look, (I was asleep,) three people praying, stuff like that.

My personal favorite was the guy who managed to propose to his girlfriend, by giving her the ring, at the photo point at Apollo's Chariot. It was such a good picture that I tried to buy it when I went back, but they no longer had it.

i used to have long hair...and it would always be standing straight up because of the wind...it looked awesome and was totally hilarious, if that wasnt the case i was the chick that always had the extremely frightened look on her face...what can i say it came natural at the time hah

hair.... too much hair!

my friends and i went on the Magnum at cedar point, and my one friend sat in front of me, she has some really long hair so the whole time i was being attacked, so for our picture, my one friend and i attacked her hair, while she leaned back on purpose to get her hair in my face, while my other friend just sat with his arms crossed and the peace sign showing, for the pic he was barely on there, but he was there!, it was a good pic, we all bought it, ill have to scan it and post it in here one day

If you would have asked me that question when i was 16, it would have been the middle finger, just to see if they would spot it (yeah typical teenage stuff). But now I mostly do the "Rock Star Look", arms raised, mouth open etc. trying to look like a bad a--.

i don;t even notice the camera's until i actully spot them. but then it be too late LOL

when i ride them a second time then i make a pose.

but in some cases i ride them once.

after riding ghostrider at knotts i had a headache from all that shaking. it was minor though. but i have a on-ride photo.\

when i make my trip to sfmm i will try to post some on-ride photos.

I always want to try making some really stupid, strange, contorted face (worse than my normal appearance ) , you know the kind little kids make. But then I'm afraid with all the movment of the ride I'll end up poking my eye out or jamming my fist up my nose or biting my tongue or something like that so it kind of limits my options.

OH! I just thought of one I do though, it's called my SPEED HELMET. I have a blue hooded sweatshirt and when i put the hood on and tie the strings under my chin, it comes to this perfect point on top of my head. When the weather's cool enough to wear it, I joke that it makes the ride more aerodynamic so we'll go faster, and I've done a couple pictures with it, including one on Dragster. I think PASTE and I both had our speed helmets on for that one. I haven't had the money to buy any of those photos yet, but I did some cartoons of it in Microsoft Paint. I think PASTE might have posted some in the "Cedar Fair Owned Parks" thread so maybe you guys have seen them before...I know it probably doesn't sound that great, but it's so stupid it's funny and it's earned laughter before.
