Ride Design Rialisation Advice Wanted

Hi i was wondering if some of you out there could help me

i'm a 26 year young designer.... and when i did my studie i designd myself a coaster on paper and stuf...

i tried to model it in rct2...

but i realy want to have a talk to somone to get to the next stage of maby showing it to a park or something so maby this thing gets build in some way or other....

friends of my think it's a good consept and ideah...
it's suposed to be the next best thing after space mountain europe.... i designed it to be the rival of it...

it would mean that here would be 2 shuch coasters , although mine is completly differand , but don't want to give a lot away...

lets say that it is an indoor coaster and that it wil be the 2onde coaster (if it gets build) that wil have a music score....

i was ondering if som of you could help me to get in contact withe some important people for mee....

greetzzz felix

try www.rcdb.com and www.thrillnetwork.com.

Did you run calculations on your design to insure there is enough kinetic energy, speed and substainable g forces necessary for riders to ride? If it involves any new technology, you may want to patent it before talking to a coaster company... who knows, they may take your idea from under you. Good Luck with your design though...

nope

no did not run any calculations ...

i'm a designer at heart ... and i work as a cad designer now for a ingenering firm that designs the load bearing structures of buildings ....

i do just the drawing and take plans from architeckts and what my engenires tel me to produce drawings of al the load bearing stuf... then the arciteckt gets a noter company to build it and stuf and the things that we don't do...

i make like the booklest you get with lego.... but for buildings...

this is the jub i do now but i have a good alround feling of forces and stuf i studied for it , just don't like doing maths and stuf cos of my dislexia ... it's hel...

but i tested it on rct which is kinde of a model...
but it comes out oke...

but the lifthil i've got big idea's for a new kinde of hil , and that can't be modeld in rct , but it wil work either way ... the hing i have in minde just makes the whole experiance better and that is wat i'm after...

you could see this coaster like the xcoaster....
i's something new in a coaster tipe that is stil pretty old...

but the consept is big and can make 2 styles of coaster out of it and 1 of those wil certainly make it unike....

and about patends .. yep i know that , but i'm not in it for the money , but i don't want to be screwd.....just want it to be build basicly becouse it's a great ride and so say my friends...

and must say i've told 1 park a bit , just that it was a indore coaster and they made up there own idea....

but i was surfing on a few coaster builders sites and saw some things and know now that the idea i have can be made .... it is just a bit strange but that is what they said about space mountain and the catapult.... hihi

but the problem you face is this... if you are testing a design on RCT2, and are going by that to tell whether or not your idea will make it in the land of physics, well RCT2 does not have the most realistic physics known to man. It almost seems like in RCT2 that acceleration due to gravity is constant. but then on the other hand, some of the speeds theygive for 200 ft rollercoasters are incorrect I believe... If all you are going to do is play test your design on a game, I highly suggest obtaining a copy of a game entitled No Limits. It designs rollercoasters in an AutoCAd setting, and allows you more freedom on your design, plus it allosws a more realistic feel of the physics of your design.

yep i know that... but did some ruf calculations..

and must say nl looks good but can't find it here and i'm not buying somthing from internet oke....

it would be nice to see my coaster in nl beouse i could make ik just like my drawings and stuf...

but let's say that it's gooing to bee oke....and the phisics ar not realy the problem....

the problem is finding somone to talk to to get it build in a park and who is not gooing to rip you off.....

and yes i think a nl model wil strongly ad to a good presentation....but í want to get to the pioint of taking to a firm or a park who would want the idea and have the investmant to build it and take a risk...

and seeing that disney already have a indore coaster i would like a park like 6 flags or seader park to have a go...+ the theming would not fit realy in disney but they would have the money and means to make it...

Oops my bad. I am sorry but I did not have the sigs turned on, as many of them are annoying and breaking the rules. That is why I turned them off, it seems that nothing is done about breaking the rules for sigs around here. I will stop now before this turns into a Jelly bashing again.

Pssst X, read his sig then put a little more effort in it, not every Dutchman is as proficient in English as I am. Then again, I'm also not dyslectic.

All I know is, mistakes or not, his English spelling beats my Dutch spelling any day!
