Calaway Park
Has anyone besides me been to Calaway Park? It's the closest park to my house, about 30 minutes away from Calgary. Besides that, i'm SOL for parks near me. There is one roller coaster, and all it does is corkscrew 2 times. There is a log ride that gets you really wet, but there is no theming. Theres a swinging boat, and a few other fun flat rides. The problem I have with it is that its been the same ever since I first went there, over 10 years ago! Would it really cost that much to put in a drop tower? A looping shuttle coaster? If they started expanding to appeal more to thrill riders, they could attract more crowds and expand intro a Six Flags worthy park! It is in the country, so it would be easy to expand.
Just my thoughts. |
