I got Banned From Riding Superman Krypton Coaster At Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Today me and my friends all went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Right when we got to the park we went straight to SKC. It was like my 10th riding it and all my friends first. After we rode it a couple of times we decided to flick the camera off when we go our picture taken. After the ride was over we went to look at the picture like it was no big deal. But when the guy at the pictue booth saw the picture he ran fast and got some pieces of paper to cover all the pictures that we where showed flicting the camera off. Then he said yall 3 are baned from riding SKC the whole day i was like bumer. After we rode all the coasters. My friends decided to ride it again. I said not cause i don't take the risk of something happening to us. After the day was over they rode it a total of six times after the guy told us that we where baned. I don't know why we where baned casue no where does it say u can't flick the camera off or do any dumb faces on a picture. I think he should of gave of an reason why we couldn't do or atleast the ride saying we can't flict the cameraoff. Has this happened to anybody else at a park.

Are you serious?
You really don't know why he would be mad or wanted you guys banned for the day? Its a family atmoshpere! If i saw it, i would have had you removed from the park! I can't believe you would wonder why obscene gestures aren't allowed in a theme park!

At Cedar Point, there are signs indicating that you could be removed from the park for obscene or suggestive actions. It is also possible to have your season pass revoked for such actions. But, they don't have to scramble for pieces of paper -- they merely shut off the offending photos, sometimes while also contacting the Cedar Point Police.
I don't recall which park it was, but there was one time last season where I liked my photo, but the ****s in the seat in front of me flicked off the camera, thereby ruining my photo-op. I'd say you're lucky -- if I'd caught you at a time when I wanted my photo, I'd have considered breaking off the offending digit.

a friend and i did that to the camera at the Titan in Six Flags Over Texas. the guy at the both saw them and just took the pictures off the screen and told us not to do that again. we did anyway and they never did anything about it. Superman Krypton Coaster in a kick azz coaster but i dont think its the best. Best floorless thought.

hello, common sense, you are in a family orientated theme park yes you will get in trouble for something like that. they treat it the same way as if someone was wearing clothing with negative images profanity or the promotion of illegal drugs. why would u want to flick the camera off anyway??? your kool...

[/QUOTE That's because the photo guy has no authority to ban you from the ride. Only the Operations (rides) and security personnel can ban you. When I was a rides lead at Six Flags, I threw out a linejumper and security tried to get me to put the linejumper on the ride (by saying I had no authority). Well, fortunately, he was the same rank as me ( alead in security) and therefore had no power over me. My full-time told me I as the lead at the ride had the discretion to refuse rides to people. So that's why. The photo person has no authority. If he had notified the rides personnel, I have no doubt you would have faced serious consequences.

Yeah fun is great, everyone should try it...but fun is NOT infringing on the rights of others- for example a parent's right to not want their kids exposed to profanity or obscenity in what is commonly recognized as a family atmosphere. And what about other people on the ride? If you happen to have someone flicking off the camera in YOUR on-ride photo, you won't get to buy it so that's taking away your right to your own picture. I'm not trying to get on your back about this RCT2108 because you took the punishment you got and learned from the experience...I just think it's pointless to for other people here to justify it by saying it's called fun.

I never buy on-ride photos unless they are funny. A finger in my face would funny, stupid but funny!

It's not a matter of people not wanting to buy their own photo if someone else in the picture is giving the finger...it's a matter of not being able to period. You can only buy the photos while they're displayed on the monitors and they don't get displayed at all if there's anything obscene about them. And besides, are you saying because you think it's funny everyone else should or that other people should have to be penalized because of your "humor"? It's just not fair and totally unnecessary...better to save that kind of "fun" for a more suitable environment.
