XMP Question/Suggestion

Once the XMP beta test is through and all, will it be released as a patch for Unreal II or as a downloadable add-on? As in, will it be like an expansion pack (as it currently is), or will there (for example), be an option for "Multiplayer" in Unreal II after you patch it...

If that didn't come out clear, what I mean is basically will the XMP be added onto Unreal II or not? Will it be an option when you start Unreal II up or will it require a different program to load, like it currently is? Thanks!

It was originally planned as a patch. From what I know, there have been no changes.
