This seems to be an unusually slow speed. It may either be because the servers are slowed down due to a large load, or your internet connection may be slowing down.

Problem With FTP

I had problems with the FTP site also. I would get 100 megs or so and it would die on me. I finally sent an e-mail to the admins and they said they are mailing out a CD sometime this week.

It was very, VERY frustrating to say the least.

Where you using Internet Explorer? Sometimes it has a tendency to stop downloading big files. That may be the problem.

I use WS FTP for my FTP jobs. The first night I tried it it was great...I was getting about 1 Mbps, then after about half an hour it droped to 100 kbps. They it just died.

We wil lbe adding a new flag in your profile that will allow you to set on a product by product basis if you want FTP access or a CD sent to you.

We got away from mass mailouts because we would got many returns because addresses were wrong and we wasted a lot of money on mail outs.

However if you want, e-mail betatestadmin@atari.com and request that a CD be sent to you. We will verify your contact info and acceptance into the betatest and then send a CD.

Thanks
