2 requests for betatests.net

I hope someone from Atari is monitoring these boards, so this actually gets so someone

I'd have 2 requests for the betatests.net page:

1. Browser Support. Not everyone is using IE. Supporting at least Netscape 7.1 (or basically Mozilla) would be great and remove that "unsupported browser" thing

2. Logging in to betatests.net. If you could change it that it doesn't open a new window to login to betatests.net. That would really help with the general overview, because since I use Netscape 7.1 I do not have 1 million windows open anymore.

Thanks

Mozilla Support

I throughly agree. Since I switched to Mozilla, I haven't used IE except for the (unfortunately) frequent Win XP updates. The pop up killer alone is worth switching over to Mozilla. Add in the ability to block images from third party sites and you have the closest thing to browsing Nirvana (Nerdvana?) that is possible.

Browser Support

It would be nice if it were totally cross platform, but it uses scripting that can only run on IE currently, unfortunately. The pop-up thing may be easier to add, and I will take that suggestion to the web admin.

I've found that Avant Browser is one of the best for Windows. It's fully IE compliant as it uses the IE API and has your built in pop-up killer. (www.avantbrowser.com)

If you want that message to go away under Mozilla, just change what your browser reports when the server polls it. I think Mozilla can do that, if not Mozilla Firebird should. (www.mozilla.org)

Great suggestions,

I will talk to the Beta tests.net programmer and see what we can do.

Thanks
