Terminator 3 Beta Test
I've been a huge fan of the Terminator franchise since the early 80s. I've owned every single Terminator PC game to date, including the original ghetto 3D style game where you could play as Kyle Reese or the Terminator. Among all of them, Terminator 2029 was probably the best story wise and Future Shock was probably the most impressive feature wise (cool weapons, vehicles, etc.).
When the latest Terminator game was announced by Atari, I almost died from excitement. I would LOVE to beta test Terminator 3. I'm all about team based FPS games, especially ones with vehicles (BF1942 for example). Please accept me into the Terminator beta test . |

I also love Terminator so it would be great to beta test it. Just have to hope for the best.

I'll be happy to give lots of feedback if it helps. Just glad I can help.
I would just like to say that this Beta Test Community is great. The best community I have ever been involved in. Well done Atari. *Andy* |

I always like to get the fans involved because in my mind they make the best testers, usually invest the most time and give the most and best feedback.
So yes fans are a big part of any BETA test we do. Thanks Mike Gilmartin ATARI, INC |

That's good
That's good to know. Involving fans makes the Beta slightly closer to the testers. If they are testing something that they really like they will try there hardest to make sure it becomes a really good game.
Well iI know I will. *Andy* |

After more consideration, I would expect it to start in 2-3 weeks at very latest. This game is due to be out by November 11th (I beleve), and the devs will want it to be gold by the end of October, which means they'll probably start beta soon if they want to get some testing in.

What details are you looking for? I could probably help a bit. The game takes place after the nuke falls, and you play as either the human resistence, or as the terminators (Exoskeletons, they don't have skin covering, from what I know).

So basically it's a giant battle between the resistence and the machines?
This is going to be great and it's using the bf1942 engine. Wow. I can't wait to get accepted. *Andy* |

i have many promising games based on really good films being let down time after time (italian job, matrix, the thing to name a few) i hope, nay i pray that this time the film is done justice (and yes i am 1 of the few how liked t3, though not as much as t2)

thx allot pyro....Sorry, but dont read this, cuz this is a SPOILER FOR THE MOVIE.
You know how it says that john connor is killed by the same terminator that his wife reformatted? Well, i watched the cutscene clip, and thats where it starts, the game starts off as John connor's wife reformats the terminator, and he is send back into the past, to exactly where the movie started off, and thats not all! a single player campaign is enough for me, but our most loved atari, is bringing the action of battlefield, into terminator 3!! So, even after beating single player, theres still loads of fun hours to go! ![]()

for being a t3:rotm game fan...u sure know little :P heh jk....It doesnt matter what engine they are using, all it is used for is a rendering engine, and the basic controls, go to the officioal t3 game website, and watch some videos, you will see that single player is awsome!

Sorry, I'm not a large fan of the game, I'm just a gaming enthusiest. I've heard that it was to concentrate more on multiplayer, but it seems that's been corrected from when I last heard that. Anyone interested in this game should check out this preview: http://www.ugo.com/channels/games/fe...ofthemachines/ |
