Where are the game-specific forums?

As has been mentioned, this forum is for general betatest discussion, and is not the place for active betatesters to discuss aspects of games which are currently in test. Since you may then be wondering where the heck you're supposed to go, here are the links to the boards for all currently active betatests.

Each betatest will have a private forum on this site. If you are accepted into a betatest, you will be sent instructions on how to access the forum. If you have any questions, please e-mail betatestadmin@atari.com.

Also, a reminder, if you're in the U2XMP, register your account before approving your access to the beta discussion board. If you do not do this, you will not be able to access the boards.

So if I'm interested in Horizons, should I register for the boards at www.tazoon.com, or should I wait until I'm accepted?

You can register to talk to other fans, but you will not get access to the beta board unless you are in the beta.

Err..

I'm trying to access the U2XMP forums, and getting a registration page:

XMP Beta Forum Access Manager

I've gone through that process already. I registered yesterday, but haven't received any email confirming registration or anything similar. Is there just an extended wait time, or am I missing something?

There should be instructions for signing up on the XMP beta forums in the XMP pages at betatests.net.

What about discussion/speculation on games that have yet to get their own forum, such as D&D online?

Okay to have a thread on that in here? Or is there another forum that is more appropriate?

I think it would be acceptable, since it references to the testing and pre-alpha development of the game, and I doubt they would create a forum for a game they've barely announced.

Yes, speculation is fine, it's only for ongiong betatests that we don't wan tanything posted in public forums, since that would violate the NDA.

There's no forum for the Shadow Ops beta currently, though this could change in the future. If you have a suggestion or bug, report it through betatests.net for now.

It would be nice to have Shadow Ops beta forum. Somewhere we can talk about the game and issues, set up times to meet and work on certain objectives.

Will there be an Act of War forum set up for testers? I just got the e-mail with my beta key in it, but that's the only thing that was in the e-mail.

Do we need to send a specific request to get into the AoW forums (al la the A&A forums) or will we be notified about this at a later date?

Thanks!

There already is one, I would suggest e-mailing BTA about it if you have not got the message about it.

No offense meant, but I recommend checking other threads for your answer. (See part 2.)

Cyclone
No offence taken.

I have recieved 2 emails so far.

The first one confirmed I was picked for the beta test - which I already knew of course.

The second one had my activation code for the game and instructions on how to register on these forums if you hadn't already done so

According to BTA's post this second message is email #3. So has the email with the details for the secret forums been sent out?

If you've followed the instructions detailed in his e-mail about how to get forum access, it should appear in this section.

The instructions to request forum access are in the same email that the coupon code came with. Scroll down and go directly to step 10 to request the private forum access.

I still have no access after following step 10.

I see a public discussion for nwn2 on the atari uk forums, but I don't see one here. Curious if it's oversight or I'm just missing it
