Classic: continue the story.
Once upon a time there was a green fuzzy hamster who liked to chew things. One day he came upon a yellow rubber boot and thought he'd like to chew on it. He pounced at it with all his might...

.. but right before he landed, the boot jumped out of the way, the dog looked in shock that the boot would move on it's own, and slowly approched it....

Continue the story continues:
After having died, the hamster saw infront of him a yellow road that led to a plantation of some sort. The field was blooming with beautiful flowers. He decided to chew on some of the leaves and eventually ate one of the buds.

The compulsive behaviour of this hamster is probably due to the oral fixation of his libido, caused by (an) early childhood trauma(s).
Hypnosis and other psychoanalytic therapic methodes may help him to get over this regressive stage of his psychosexual development.
