Navy????

i thought this was axis and allies?where the @#^& are the nalal units?why can`t we play WWII online.why did i spend $50 on a $3 @#$%^!*v almost game.it plays just fine but it is incomplete.and why is the only online play with #$@%^@!ing game spy? :sulk: has whoever made this thing ever played a&a?EVER!!!!!!

Well the developer of the original board game was involved with the design team, so yeah they had some good A&A knowledge on board with the development of this title.

As for Gamespy, I see most games coming out with support for it. I've seen quite a few of them with their own built-in match making services drop the option in favor of Gamespy later. Even those with their own internal service often just piggy back on Gamespy. It's easier to use Gamespy tools than it is to re-create your own for a given game.
