New Engineer Capability - Bridge Making

On some maps, there are single bridges, that take forever to get to with ground units. It would be nice if the Engineers could 'engineer' a bridge over rivers that ground units could move across. Of course, the bridges could sustain damage and such, thus providing a point where you could cut the supply line / troop reinforcemnt.

Great idea! Bridge building would be a great addition to the game. That would really make a difference in the river heavy maps. I think that you would have to purchase the bridge like the bunkers and AAA, and then have the engineers build it. there could be two types of bridges. A small pontoon bridge would cost very little, be built quickly and allow only infantry to cross. A heavy bridge would cost substantailly more, take longer to construct and allow all units to cross. I agree that they should be destructible, along with the bridges that start on the map. Imagine a Remagen type mission where you have to secure the river crossing by saving a major bridge! Countless strategic implications!
