Help Plz!!!!!!

i just got A&A for x-mas, and i installed it. it installed with no problems, but when i clicked on shortcut(or tried to load it to play) a fatal errpe message came up saying: ERROR:no adapters available. then another error came up sayin: thread MAIN caught unhandled execption- Access Violation (C0000005) trapped at 1B:70CDC5 then it goes on sayin to aid development team submut log files(and i dont know how to do it so here r the files it gave me Logs\log-1.log and a minidump file Logs\log-.dmp)

i also tried installin the game on my dads computer(which is a new one) it installed good and loaded when i clicked to play but when i clicked on single player campiagn or tried to play a multiplayer game it shut the game down and giving me the same error message's(not the adapter one but the other).

if any 1 knows what to do to fix this or anything to help me would be so f'ing sweet and i would appericate it ( also if any1 has the same problems u can let me know)

this game is good (so says my friends) so i dont want to get rid of it.

ok my video card is a S3 graphics ProSavage DDR and im gonna download the lastest driver thing and this would b my first time doin this and i dont know where to save it, any ideas?

Yeah, update the drivers, see my post in the other thread on this one where you also posted.

Im trying to find what video card I have and have a problem locating the name where do you look for it, not to computer savy here with stuff like that only good at worksheets....lol

lol same here phantom. what i did was i went to control panel ( if ur using windows) then click into display then to settings then it will say ur monitor on ...(what ever card u have ). well thats how i did it anyways.

i have updated my video card and now it loads to the title screen (i was like YAY! it's workin) but when i clicked on whatever to start a game it would load and then u hit continue ( at this point i thought i had it fixed) but after u hit it, it shut down and gave me a error saying: thread main caught unhandled exception: access violation (CC0000005) trapped at 1B:0 and told me to report the log files to them and here they r logs\log-0.log and minidump file logs\log-0.dmp. so now im really confused.

I got an email backed from them and use there suggestions and I'm still crashing now...dont know what to do, I got game as a christmas gift and since its open cant return it because now people have the ability to copy games so the stores think you copied it and cant return it..getting a little pissed I havn't even played yet always getting that message.

The S3 line of video cards may not be compatible with A&A. If you are experiencing crashes on startup, it is probably due to video card incompatibilities.

hmmm u may be right. i'll look around too c if i can find if it is or isnt. i was also thinking that mayb my processor is too slow too i have pent.4 1.6 ghz (jus askin if u know then cool)
