Airfields
i reckon the airfeilds need a scramble fighters button
casue the dont seem to leave untill the airfeild has already been hit with one round of bombs. and a "scrabmble fighters to location" would be pretty good, to give infantry and ground units close fighter air support and they dont engage much, like if im sending bombers to a base, and the fly right past my opponent doing the same thoughts? |

It does feel like a rather unfinished part of the game. Fighter escorts should allow for some dogfights. Air defense range should start immediately when a bomber is in spotting range enroute to a friendly target.
If ground units spot a bomber run headed towards any target, the friendly air base should immediately launch fighters to intercept them. Ground units would include emplacements like AA guns as well as infantry and armor units on the move that can spot and radio in an incoming air attack. It would be nice to have day and night cycles as well so you could do night time bombing runs with far less accuracy but much lower costs (reflecting the low casualty rates). Perhaps increase the area of effect and even provide air raid sirens! ![]() In keeping with being a GAME, it would be nice to have indicators show up where an air attack is targeting. I often miss the first part of an attack and I would think alerting to the raid should come a little earlier.
