Catastrophic Error!

Hello,

I just bought Axis and Allies and I got a message saying there was a "Component transfer error" and that it was a "catastrophic failure."

My computer should easily be able to handle this game's requirements, but I am at a loss as to what this is about. Anyone experience the same thing and have a solution?

Thanks for the help.

Almost the same thing happened to me!!

I start it up, and get into Axis & Allies. Then the thing loads, and press play. Then, it goes to the loading screen with the map in the background. When i press the play button in the bottom right corner, the screen goes black, my computer thinks a ton, and it comes up with something like this...

Thread MAIN caught unhandled exception- Access Violation (C0000005) trapped at 1B:0

Can someone please please help soon!!

my friend has the same problem, except that it happens when he and me are playing together.. he starts a server and then we play for some 30 to 80 minutes and then the game crash, it doesnt happen to me, but it happens to him, please fix this bug, i love the game but i dislike the bugs, a patch would satisfy the most of us, just dont include any changes of the game, just fix the bugs !

Make sure you have the latest vid drivers updated. NVIDIA just released an update in late April. I had 1 catastrophic error and windows restarted. Unfortunately if you play EDOMW you have to use the old drivers. The new drivers don't seem to work well with some older games.
