Egypt Theme

Coming in the not too distant future, some new "goodies" to play in the sand with This will be just for decorative purposes. I plan on having a "ride through" pyramid also in this new theme, along with at least a couple of buildings & some new wall pieces & things for you to make your own creations with.

Thanks for the compliments guys That one is kind of small, it's mainly just for decorative purposes, I'm planning on making a big one for coasters to go through also, along with some columns & some new wall pieces & hopefully a couple of premade 1 piece buildings for everybody to play with. I'm not sure what all will wind up in this, I'm just getting started with this stuff.

Thank you so much for working on the Egyptian theme. I love it. It reminds me of Busch Gardens in Tampa - Montu rules!

Don't forget oblesks, columns (with seperate crossmembers), etc!
I love the egypt theme idea! Modular pyramid bits would be cool because we can then run paths/q's thru it.

Perhaps you can have matching "ground" pieces and "ramp" ones so we can build "underground" into the pyramid/temple/ruins...

Thanks for the compliments, ideas, suggestions & enthusiasm for this theme Did someone say "oblesks"? lol I still have to get this one sized & in the game, but that won't be too long. I've added the texture in the bottom of the pic so you can see it better. It's hard to see the detail in the big pic of it in Milkshape.

Looks like this will be a great addition to the game!

Do the hieroglyphics on the obelisk spell out something RCT3 related? Or perhaps “All bow to the mighty Pharaoh Marnetmar”?

Thanks Klinn, I have no idea what (if anything) the heiroglyphics say or mean. Cool idea though, I might have to d/l some fonts like that & leave some "messages" in something lol

Let me know when ready, I have a Cartouche Maker and I just need to know the text to convert to heiroglyphs in them.

Sounds Great Skipper, I'll have to get a few things out of the way & work on the textures for these

Making more progress on this theme. Here's a few in game test pics of one of the columns I'm making. It's almost done, just a few minor tweaks & it'll be finished

Man, I can't wait!!!!!
That is some really great detailing! Not sure if you can do it, but the Egyptians used a lot of flower symbols in their decoration - lotus flowers, papyrus, palms, etc. It might be hard, but it would make things look more intricate. Also, try big long blocks that can span the tops of the columns. They used them to support roofs and created rows of columns.
Wow - that's so cool.
Thanks
