Ely? (Possible Easter egg)

I searched and didn't find anything on this. Does one of the developers have some connection to Ely?

It's not the first city that comes to mind for a shipping port...

Ely is a small 'city' in the middle of the Fens in East Anglia, England. It is a very small town surrounded by flat, featureless countryside (farmland). Its mainly populated by commuters and retired folk.

What makes Ely interesting is it has a magnificant medieval cathedral, which can be seen for miles around and is well worth a visit. Theres also a remarkable species of duck there that has to be seen to be believed.

The pubs are quite good.

The nearest sizable town is Cambridge.

Thanks, but I know - I used to live in Norwich! I was interested in a possible Easter egg. Did you check the screenshot? The sinking ship pool slide is called the SS Tiara and registered to Ely, Cambs. I was wondering if the person who designed it came from there.

Hmmmm.... LOL... Perhaps Tiara is just a romantic dev's girlfriend, and Ely's the area she comes from. Ah, the joys of love

Nothing more romantic than naming a ship after your best girl, after all....

Or maybe she's just broken up with him, given that the ship is sinking

Or Tiara herself might be the dev and named the slide after herself.

I must say, I never noticed this on the back of the ship, cool find!
