Grade A slick -- and these are the type of walls that will get a lot of use from the hard core "realistic" park builders. I'll dl them when I get back from work.

Nice walls.
I downloaded and they look great.

One problem tho, the pictures don't show up in the scenery menu.
Not sure if it is on my end or not.

They look nice, but you should wait til everything's finished before downloading, or at least warn people that it's not done.

Nice!!! I can definately use these. I also like how V2 is coming, but if I may make a suggestion... would it be possible to make the I Slit an actual window and not just an image?

That's just a nitpick, though... this looks GREAT!

Good work with these, but you might want to map the texture on the top of the blocks, it doesn't look that good IMO without it. As always, just suggesting.

Yes I could make the slit a proper window, there's 2 ways of doing this.
1: you could cut it out of the mesh the only problem with this method is it would increase the poly count quite a lot.
2: the best way would be to use an alpha map/mask for the slit, this method would not increase the poly count at all.

Method 2 is the best way for anything you create that needs to be transparent. There may be times when you have to use method 1, but as a rule you should only use it when absolutely necessary. (the game suffers from enough lag without us adding to it.)

The brick texture mapped on the top looks even worse, I'm going to texture the top with a different texture when I have time, and there will hopefully be some roof pieces that will cover the top.
My main concern at the moment is getting the objects and textures llight and shadow effects appearing properly in rct3, the texture mapping is last on my list (mapping is the easy part providing the object is aligned correctly)

And Guys your not nit picking your making suggestion and constructive critisisms These are welcome and should be welcomed by any one creating anything (I may just totally treat them with contempt and ignore them but that shouldn't stop you trying.)

Just curious then as to why a link to download already? Or is it going to be like a series of sets?

This one is already added to the next edition QL

Excellent! Thanks.

This is going to be SO nice when it's done.... I think I'll hold off on doing Hyrule Castle in my Zelda: OoT Park until it's ready.

As long as they're not nitpicks, can there be open doors that can be placed over paths? That's probably the most lacking scenery object that we have.

Looking forward to it!

Thanx Skipper I didn't know what you ment when u said added to QL and Iv'e just read your sticky I'll check it out, don't know how I missed it.
The set will just get added to until its complete. I'm releasing it that way so people can, if they want, use the completed objects
as the full set could take some time. Each release will add new objects, the old objects will not be changed so there's no danger of using these objects to build something only to have it look totally different in the next instalment.

I hope this thread stays here, Max....or else it will get lost in the mess that is the Exchange

btw, great wall set!!

If you also add open doors over paths, as LWK suggested, this set will be truly indispensible!

Ok here's the latest pic from my scenery set, Iv'e decieded not to release any more until the complete pack is finished incase it causes problems in the game.

This Image Was Automatically Resized by using the Screenshot Tag. Click to view the full version

Still to do

Round roofs
Spires
Diagonal wall pieces
More windows and doors
floors
Over Path doors (so peeps can walk through)
Extra tower pieces
Steps & stage infront of the castle

so a fair way to go yet.

I'm looking for window and door designs inkeeping with the castle theme so if anyone has some pics of different types, please email them to me.
