Disneyland (now based on ALL DL's) UPDATE NEW SCREENS 06/01/28

I have started to build a Disneyland based on the new Hong Kong resort. It wont be a huge park to begin with so that people can actually play with it on their PC's. below are the some screens and a opening day list. The parks layout is based on HKDL, the park will open with 4 lands, and 2 hotels. I hope to develop a DTD area long the park promenade during the phase 2 expansion. I have left enough room for a 2nd park to built opposite DLpark.

let me know what you think so far!

Great start to this park. Your use of billboards gives it a unique touch. I'm not a fan of the castle though. it looks odd. But if you like it, keep it.

I agree, its out of scale and not very detailed but it is temporary until I can either work out how to import scenery properly or someone else comes up with a Disney castle set.

this is really nice and detailed. I like what you have done with the whole of mainstreet, and the adventureland area. I got a kick out of seeing even the parade door! there is alot of promise in this park- just two criticisms. i dont like the castle- same reasons as everyone else- and i dont like the colors. #2- your peter pan station looks kinda bad. My advice- for the part where you fly over the rooftops, make it full building, into a pit, with walls and alleys. it will look much better.

Oh I will be putting the whole ride in a building. Im just basing the station on the one in paris, where there are mini-roof tops under the station then you fly through the window into the nursery.....I still have to add the Peter Pan facade out front to cover the station etc etc etc

Beautiful!

I love the Attractions arcade, it looks like the real thing with all the posters, you really did deserve that Golden Peep award, bravo!

I have to say though, that castle does look out of place, why not experiment with MaxInfinity’s’ Max DC set, it is almost the same textures as the castle, and his new set even has a castle entrance. Also when you said you were going to make it small, but when I look at the first layout photo, it seems you got a lot planned, Hotels, DTD in the same map, that will get incredibly laggy. I suggest making them on different maps, it would be a lot easier for you too, as you have more room to create and no lag to halt your building.

Keep up the good work

Thanks for all the feedback!

Phase one will just be DL park and the 2 Resorts...then I will release it and people can develop the rest of the land however they like (depending on their PC's I guess! lol) the planned 2nd phase DTD etc is what I will eventually do....possibly adding a water park somewhere too (in place of a 2nd gate?)

This is GORGEOUS so far! I love it!!!

Beautiful use of the Main Street Scenery sets. Let me know if they're causing any major lag problems for you. Many people are complaining that they are unusable because of lag. And then I see a park like this which is using them all over. I think those that are complaining just don't have fast enough computers. (I've learned how to streamline the design process now, so my next sets should have little to no problems.)

Also, if you haven't yet seen MaxInfinity's castle set, once you do, you'll definitely want to replace the one you used! It's spectacular.

This is turning out great. As soon as I get Wild! I'm doing a Disney myself.

I guess it's ON then. The struggle for the best Disney park. Mine will lose automatically considering no one replies at my posts lmao!

Nah jk, this is turning out great, I was fascinated though by the accuracy of the paths surrounding the castle. So far, I haven't seen ANYONE get the well to the left of the castle right. Good job!

Disneyland Park Update

Hi there, here is a quick update on the park. Having just returned from Disneyland Paris I have decided a Magic Kingdom without at least some of the classic attractions and a Frontierland is just not a Magic Kingdom at all, so although I said I was going to base the park on HKDL I have now decided to add Frontierland as well as some of the classic attarctions for Opening day.

So progress so far, Inspired by the DLP ride, Phantom Manor will be an opening day attraction. Pics below, construction is also underway on the Disneyland Hotel and resort area in general!

hope you enjoy the pics! Have a merry christmas everyone!

Phantom Manor and surrounding scenery

Disneyland Hotel Entrance

Disneyland Hotel Inner courtyard

Disneyland Hotel (guest room wings under construction)

Disneyland Park Entry Arch (under construction)

Hi All, Another update here, mainly on Adventureland. Based heavily on Animal Kingdom the land transports you into a lush jungle with caves and temples to explore, Major Attractions include the Jungle River Expedition with a drop below ground through a buring cave and Indiana Jones Adventure, The Legend of the Lion King show theater has also begun construction and will be also be an opening day attraction. I have also been working on Frontierland and a small update is also below

hope you enjoy the pics! Have a Happy New Year everyone!

View you will see as you enter the land (market place will be in this area)

The Swiss Family TreeHouse

Adventureland Views (Jungle River Expedition,Caves etc)

Future Site for Pirates

Overview of land (expansion areas highlighted)

Frontierland Update (The Lucky Nugget Salon & SilverSpur SteakHouse)

Thanks for all the compliments. For Indy I think Im going to design a ride that is a cross between a dark ride and a coaster!
