It just has to be a night I'm at a meeting!

I don't know how IRC works, but someone should make a copy of the entire chat conversation that takes place, and copy it here. The more info, the better.

How big it the the city in miles/kilometers?
The controller configuration for the PS2? *if finished
How has the motorcycle physics changed from Driv3r?
If Martin Edmonston is Gareth's brother?
Will they make an Reflections Website?
Parallel Lines, what does that mean really?
Has the online been scraped like IGN said?

Lets start listing questions, for those who have a question but are busy or just won't be there. If you have a question list it and someone who's on will hopefully post it.

1. Will film director be back in the next installment (considering there is one)?
2. Will real time damage be implemented on vehicles in future projects?
3. Have you considered destructible buildings, and whats the likelyhood of it being in a game next generation?
4. Whats the song from the Driver 1 menu, and who is it by?
5. What was wrong with the online portion, other than not being as good as single player?
6. Are there any plans to make a Stuntman 2? Please!

The main question i'll try to ask if i can get there because of the Time Zone Delays...

Will there be a PC version and i'll ask there should be an option to turn film director on and off and there also should be a last 30second replay feature..

And the next question will be... Why? don't you answer the questions at the atari forums...

if i can be there i'll copy the whole conversation...

Is this Happening in New York...
Because if it is i'll have to get up by 9:30 AM on Friday 20th of Jaunary
This is a time zone for adelaide, darwin and alice springs...
I hope i got it correct...

It's pretty obvious by now that the answer to that is no.

A bit of a strange feature for a driver game, isn't it?

4. Whats the song from the Driver 1 menu, and who is it by?

It's simply the 'driver menu music' and it's by Allister Brimble, who also did the score for driver 2. Unfortunately, he got rid of his copies of all the original driver music, and I've never been able to track them down anywhere- EXCEPT the menu music (convenient, huh) which can be found all over the internet.

5. What was wrong with the online portion, other than not being as good as single player?

yes- that is a question that needs to be asked.

6. Are there any plans to make a Stuntman 2? Please!

And that....is not, seeing as stuntman is basically driver without the freedom or open ended cities.

I think the most important questions that need to be asked are about the multiplayer and the director. Aside from that I just want to know about little things, such as whether we can expect the return of flying hubcaps and the car underside jumping thing from driver 1.

Uh, wrong, they were gonna put it in D3 until they put too much other stuff in and had no computation space left. So most likely yes, it will be.

Wrong again, as Stuntman is extremely linear, and Driver keeps getting unlinear. Where in Driver do you perform stunts for movies?

Maybe someone could ask them if they'd include or are gonna include a dashboard/hood cam view in DL:PL or future installments?

Im pretty curious to the real-time damage question as well, its actually not that far fetched either.

Well, if you're gonna open a chat room, don't bother unless someone from Reflections or an insider is in them. First reason is, theres maybe 20 members in this forum, sure, maybe more would come when they heard of an ongoing dev chatroom, but theres not really enough people for a full fledged permanent chatroom. Plus, since its one topic, we'd run out of stuff to talk about. But whatever.
