I HATE ATARI!
Well, Atari Uk anyway.Firstly how bad are the forums. Screenshots of new expansions were never posted, actually nothing was posted until someone mentioed it. The main reason I hate them is update 3 for the original rct. Sure its released for the american version of the game but not the uk version. Marnetmar pointed me in the right direction but it took 4 e-mails from atari uk technical support to tell me that they are NOT making an update 3 for the uk version of the game. Cmon how pathetic is that.
So thanks atari for making the patch for the us game but not the uk game. Oh and yeah hope you get sued even more by C.S ![]()

I'll see what I can find out.
Edit: Da Goner, did they provide an update or give you a workaround for installing the US one? Michael |

I've noticed a common trend in the RCT3 community is to express one's hate for the game and the game's publisher.

i am from the UK too, i have soaked and wild and all the "US" updates/patches
the game works fine for me , maybe a bit of lag when building coasters but not much using the US patches seemed to work for me |

Why make 2 versions anyway? I'll never figure that one out.

The reason im so angry at them is im used to running rct3 with soaked and wild installed and taking upto 5 minuites to load a sandbox park. Without expansions it takes max 10 seconds! All i want is tunnels and billboards but atari can't seem to do that ![]()

why did they even make a US version when it has almost all UK spelling in it (althought UK spelling of some things makes much more sense)

You could always change your game region in the “regedit”, I had to do this for the “Wild!” BETA. I don’t remember it’s exact location, but I am sure a mod could help you out.

The workaround is as follows: 1. Open RegEdit by selecting Start and then Run, typing RegEdit and selecting Ok 2. Search for Atari 3. Keep pressing F3 to cycle through each instance of Atari in the registry, this may take several attempts depending on how many Atari products you have on your computer. 4. When a key called Territory is displayed, double click and change the value to USA. 5. Close RegEdit Edit: Beat ya to it Mar! |

Edit: IT WORKED! Thank to to everyone who helped especially Marnetmar and Live_the_thrill
I seriously reccomend this. Its running without half the lag it used to. Loads a little slower but not much. includes all the great elements from wild. still need to see if it includes water falls. Thanks everyone again!

Atari UK needs to come up with a UK patch quick before the company goes under.

The patch has its downsides
You can't view guest passport stamps. Custom stalls crash the game for some reason Includes stalls exclusive to wild like do-nut shop and fries but doesn't have a name for them. Billboards don't have a name. Still for a free patch its great.

I wanted to know if someone could clarify for me that there's a third patch update for core RCT3 and it has or hasn't been officially released outside the U.S. Thanks!

Does update 3 include the lasers? If so I might uninstall Soaked as I only use the lasers and a couple of the rides, I can live with out the rides though.
