Ricer Dodge Neon? That hunk of junk got 22PSI of illegal nitrous oxide (Not that I care if its illegal). The GT500 would have smoked it if he didnt have nitrous. And clearly the Cobra was winning until he used nitrous again.

GT500 Looks amazing, and for it's price has amazing preformance. The Cobra was good too but then again...

You know, I kind of feel sorry for the SRT-4, it looks so defenseless and what-not until you let it loose and you realize its a dodge that is just turbo charged. I mean come on its having to deal with cars that are twice-three times the size engine it is, I dont care if it is TCed, or 'Juiced'...it is still a piece of crap dodge that is TCed.

that "neon" did not run nitrous or have a bottle in the car... Its called power to weight ratio and that GT500 is a fat bloated pig.

come on, a lot of the race cars that are out there and a lot of the supercars out there are all motor.... Enzo, Z06 if thats i supercar, it is in my dictionary,gallardo, murcielago, etc.... all great cars with out turbo or superchargers. In the end, all motor is the way to go.

Are you saying a Honda Civic (stock) is as good as a Enzo? All cars have a engine/motor not a freaking propeller

I dont think that is what he was saying, I think he was making a point that whether you have a Turbo or Supercharger, being all motor is much better because you can actually say "I beat you without forced induction!"

That was a badass srt-4, no doubt. Just wait until somebody really starts opening up on the GT 500. 5.4 IRON block, made for boost....

GT500 is a pig, plain and simple. 4,000 lbs... I know Muscle Cars aren't exactly light, but damn. I'm anxious to see the weight on the new Camaros and Challengers, hopefully they are around the 3,5xx mark where it should be.

Might as well get a Z06 and be fast in the straight, and in the corners. I know they aren't "muscle" cars, but the GT500 was just a big disappointment in my opinion.

It's not an actual GT-500:

The car in the Video Was NOT the 2007 GT-500. I can prove it.

First, all GT 500 have striped over the car. the one in the Video only had rocker stripes.

second you could not hear the Supercharger wine, I only heard a wistle from the turbo on the Neon.

Third, this video stated that the 500 had a Pully / Catback Exhaust
Well the GT500 does not have a replacable pully, they are stamped on, to increase boost you must replace the supercharger.

And final..
Look at the GT 500 Rocker stripes on the Real GT 500 the "G" and the "T" are connected the fake one they are seperated. Nice Try...

Agree. I couldn't point out what was wrong, but the Emblem on the side gives it away.

Even if it was a GT500, who cares anyway? Who is going to get more attention, a tool in a Neon, or in a Legendary Shelby. Exclusivity, my friends, is something that many men are willing to pay the price for. Why would you pay $65-70K for a GT500 ($20-25K over sticker), when you could have a Z06 (that outperforms the GT500 without breaking a sweat) for almost the same price. EXCLUSIVITY!! Everyone and there brother has a freaking Corvette, which the Z06 doesn't look much different. The GT500 is a very different car than the base Mustangs. A legend in my book.

Base C6 then, hp isn't everything young one. I'd look at weight before looking at the power numbers.

Your funny, my suggestion to you is to go back to school and brush up on your reading comprehension classes. I don't see how you interpret my post as "crying"...

If anyone is butthurt, it seems to be you... I know it sucks to see a puny 4cyl beat a big bad 8cyl. GT500 or not. and btw, your lx would have a hard time keeping up with my neon. and its not even an SRT-4.

And they made this power with the only other mod bieng a boost a pump. No cams, heads, exhaust. Just the Kenne Bell and a boost a pump. So hate the GT 500 all you want, but if you can't see the capabilities of it's powetrain, then your a moron. This is the same shop that first put the GT 500 in the 9's in the 1/4. And that car was "only" pushing out 660 hp...
