So, does anyone here watch this anime? And what do you think about it?

It's got my vote for best anime of the century. Well, that depends on how they handle chapter 56. And if they do more godlydramatic chip eating/writing scenes.

I also agree on that part. Its even better than Naruto and Bleach, IMO, because the storyline is so addictive. I haven't read the manga but I think I'll start reading it.

Don't. I can't speak from my own experience, but I feel that the anime is more enjoyable when you don't already know what's comming next. I mean, they've been followig the manga pretty closely, except for that one part with Misa and Light in the same shop. But you'll feel the same if you read the manga, with all the mystery and stuff, but one ruins the other, as far as I'm concerned.

BTW, before anyone asks about my sig,
Spoiler: It's the last line that you see Light say in the manga
