Samurai Champloo vs. Hellsing

Which show do you prefer? And if you haven't seen them, go watch them now.

I prefer the Champloo anime, but the Hellsing manga. The reason I don't choose the anime over Champloo's is simple, the Hellsing anime is half filler. But still manages to hold second place in my book. But yeah...

Champloo is my answer.

I've never watched Samurai Champloo, so my vote goes to Hellsing.

Hey Kaditsu. Nice to see you in the posts.

Kaditsu Atari now has an Anime/Manga/Comic forum and I mod there as well. I am going to move this thread to that forum with a redirect that will expire in a couple of days in the DBZ CC forum.

Kaditsu is mostly in the BT2 forum. Kaditsu is a big King Piccolo fan. He is also a fan of Helsing. As even he has had that Alucard avay a good while. Kaditsu has been around a while at Atari.

The Anime forum is active, but we need to get posts and people in here to keep up the activity. Though most any forum no matter how large or small has less activity at times.

That reminds me.....Why are there so many moderators now? I see a bunch of them that joined in 2006.

Understaffed I guess.

I am about to order the Hellsing Collector's box.

I reccomend picking up the Hellsing Ultimate series instead of the Collectors Box (unless you want both). The Ultimate series follows the Manga exactly, unlike the Collector's box (which starts going off into it own story at about Vol. 3 of the Manga).

Samurai Champloo never really got me interested. I watched a couple of episodes on Cartoon Network, but it did not pull me in.

As for Hellsing, it is really good, especially the Ultimate version. Just be forwarned, it is VERY violent and bloody.

BTW if you would like, we could discuss Hellsing or Samurai Champloo in the "Anime Discussion Thread"
