Multiplayer Problem please help

Hi, me and my friend were playing silverfall on multiplayer and having a great time until we both quit and then played again the next day, when we tried playing again my character on my screen is shown as he is just standing on the screen with no npc's around and i cant move or see the other player, but on my friends screen he sees me moving around and stuff. On my screen my character is stuck in one spot and i can't move but i can travel to other parts of the map, but i am still stuck and cannot move. It is really wierd because my friend can see me move around where i click on my screen and stuff but on my screen there is no animation and i cant move. Example would be i shoot elemental spell anywhere and i can hear the sound effect and the splash impact on the wall but i dont see anything besides that but my friend sees everything. We have tried lots of things but have no idea on how to fix this, if anybody can help us or give us a idea of what is wrong that would be much appreciated. It is only like this on our high lvl characters, we made new guys and it works fine but we want to play with our main characters. Thx
