Icon26 System Requirements INFO ??

What is the minimum & recommended system information for Silverfall ?

Will it support mid - low system requirements ? I think a good game should always support mid-low system.

My specs :
P4 2,4GHz HT
1GB DDR3200 Dual Channels
ATi A9550Gamers Edition
120GB HDD

I think we need to know all about it before we buy the game.
And also i guest the dev should think about it before the released the game to the market, so there will be no more 'TQ incidents' that require us to download 'bugsy' patch after patch and so on.

Thanks.

I hope Silverfall will be more interesting than the legendary Diablo. Peace

As the game already has been released in France (as well as Italia and Spain I think) around November, we have the required specs that are written on the box, and it's been given here.

As for 'bugsy' patches, there's been several patches already for the released versions, and the international version that will be released in March should be in way better shape

They're using PhysX so you might want to get a physics accelerator to maximize the experience. I priced one at tigerdirect and it runs about $200.00 US. I guess another upgrade is inevitable.

Recommended IMHO:

P4 3 GHz (Netburst) equivalent or newer
1 GB DDR RAM
ATI X ### equvalent or newer
10 GB free HDD

Yes, the performance could be highly downgraded. Start with 'shadows' and 'reflections'.

What defines "low system requirements"?

Thanks!

Low system requirements are usually the bare minimum to get the game to play. Performance and/or visual quality will suffer heavily if you're just scraping by on minimum specs.

Thank you!

I am just hesitant to download the demo. Mostly because of the hardware that I am using. I am not even certain if it is "bare-minimum". I think it would be nice to know what, in fact, the actual system requirements for "Silverfall" really are.

Unfortunately, MonteCristo (the ones who actually created "Silverfall") chose not to make a note anywhere of what minimum (bare) system requirements actually were.

Appreciate all of your replies!

I still haven't heard what the Min and Recommended spec's are. I'm using 2.1gig AMD and a G Force 5500 video card and the demo plays fine. My wifes PC has 1.7 gig AMD and a G Force 4000 video card and she can't play because of the "AGEIA Physx Hardware" Error.

Looks like the US version (Steam version at least) is already the latest patch, 1.16.

Also to jmsample, sounds like your wife's PC needs the PhysX drivers installed. (No, you do not need an actual PhysX card, but you still need to install their runtime)

I believe the Demo installed the PhysX drivers but it still gives me the erorrs. Acording to the Specs page her GPU is way too slow, even mine is slower than specs but I have no problems. Where can I get a newer ver of the PhysX drivers? I'll try that than maybe a new card for her, although it's getting tough to find a high end card for a PCI slot.

Thank you very much for making the system requirements public knowledge.

As I may have mentioned in an earlier post, it is good to know what is expected by the manufacturer/producer of any PC game before spending time and energy downloading 1.4gb of data that may, or may not, be usable data and/or executable code.
