Things that need to be fixed!
I am generally very pleased with the game(demo) but there are some things that still need work:
-fix rapid gun fire sound, the sound of each shot is abruptly interrupted by another shot, which is a very common and amateur mistake in game development. Usually it's fixed by a patch. -fix gun projectile speed, it is stupid that gun projectile and arrow have the same speed. -fix/remove object disappearing, beside the fact that it looks ugly, often you shoot at the enemy trough that object because it disappears to allow you a better view, leave the view to the players, more harm than good is achieved this way. -upgrade physics, which is really rudimentary, why are bodies disappearing and why do you pass trough them like ghost, this looks especially ugly with the big enemies. That is not physics. Maybe this could be optional. -optimize the engine of the game, it shouldn't lag on high-end machines and graphic cards I probably missed some things but that's it for now. Great game! |

-add key A for left camera view and key D for right camera view and you get perfect control
-tone down the sensitivity of mouse press in lower bottom screen where the management is because very often accidently you open stat windows -is there some reason why in 3D game there is no angle animation up/down or even you can only target enemies if they are on the same plane level? For example if you are standing on a hill you can't shoot down and vice-versa. |

Is anyone using dual monitors? I am looking for some feedback from dual monitor users that run the game on one monitor and have the second monitor displaying other applications.

-inconsistent object solidity, like terrain, you shoot right trough it
-arrows magically appear in hand(instead the character could get them from backpack like in so many other games) Last edited by tron_hr; 02-01-2007 at 02:40 PM. |

i've noticed a problem with the terrain and the up and down angles as well. too often on my archer character i'll click on a monster to shoot it with my bow and arrow and my toon will run right up to the monster and start shooting at it point blank. this kinda ruins the whole archer thing. theres usually just a few bumpy terrain points in between myself and the monster but nothing that would obstruct the view.
