Off Topic: Suncoast Video now a thing of the past...

It is official, all the Suncoast Videos in the Seattle area are now closed. They got bought out by FYE last year. They were a bit more expensive than Best Buy, but they usually had a very good selection of Anime, Manga, Anime CDs, Used Anime, and even Anime Toys (as well as other stuff on DVD.) FYE will suposedly be expanding their Anime sections.

The one thing that I will miss about Suncoast is that they got the Anime Titles on time (and on the shelf) unlike Best Buy. Where you sometimes had to hunt down a team member (if you can find one) to look in the back for a title that came out that day. About 75% of the time, they did not have the DVD (or they could not find it).

Is this happening in your neck of the woods? It is kind of sad seeing one of the mainstays of VHS/DVD stores go away.

Oh well...

They were a bit more pricey like you said, but they would special order stuff for customers and also give you some discounts sometimes.
