console and cheat codes

i was surfing the net for some tips on silverfall, and i see cheat codes! i couldn't believe my eyes! i thought it had no cheats and i see it! i go to the game, load it up start my lvl 7(yes im a n00b) i get the console ctrl+ ~ and it worked until i typed in the cheat code and it was invalid.

so i was wondering if there are any known cheat codes to silverfall?

Uh... Was it the "God" cheat that failed?

If that's the one, it may have been for the demo, but the originator should have specified that.

I want cheat codes also

I verified that the [Ctrl][~] console + "god" cheat does not work with the retail version of Silverfall + patch. You get the "unrecognized command" msg when you try it.

This cheat was put out by someone....

Who was running the demo and did not specify that in the cheat
Left out a procedure/command to activate cheats

I still want cheats

Also, I tried 2 different Trainers, neither worked. I don't like Trainers anyway.

I've uninstalled Silverfall until I can get command cheats.

Why do you guys NEED cheat codes? The game is simple enough without any cheats and your enemies advance as your character does. You also get better equipment. I played the game for about 3.5 days and my character is a level 36 human female fighter by now.

Just play the game as it's ment to be, without any cheats!!

OK, you are correct for the way you play.

I do not play any game that does not have cheats. That is the way I play. This is called freedom of choice.

3 days? You can get to 65 in a day. And I agree with the other person about not needing cheats for this game, that would be degrading.

LOL well, I have to eat, sleep AND work. Plus, Silverfall isn't the only game I'm playing.

And yeah, Teckno, I guess to each his/her own.

If you have cheat codes, why require a PM for them? Why not just post them?

Cat and I discussed via PM, and Cat has most graciously given approval to post the cheat. Note that it is NOT a cheat code as such.

First get the No-DVD fix and trainer (available at gamecopyworld, gameburnworld, or megagames) then change the exe to it, then run the trainer and hit Numpad 1-7 save, close the game and the trainer, once you lvl up and stuff if you need the trainer again....run it.

Note that this is NOT an exact quote from what CAT sent.

Make sure you get the correct no-DVD fix and trainer for your version of the game.
