hey some of thats good and all but i like a dbz games on 360 so
A.i can play online B.use the headset to record my voice to a created character (ur original character fire a kamehameha and hearing ur voice yelling "kamehameha") C.xbox live vision camera take a pic of me and put it on the created characters select screen and HUD pic instead of having a pic of a shadow plus if on 360 or PS3 they could make the characters in game look like the opening video of tenkaichi 1 ok im done |

All right so I've been a DBZ fan for my whole life and need to let this out. I want to let the Atari staff know what should be in the game and what most gamers want.
- First off more characters is always the way to go. I want all the characters that any hero fought. Example: Garlic Junior’s men, a few of “Frieza's” men, etc. I want there to be more “Namek” levels. There is just one level for “Namek” but it should be. There should be at least 2. One could be the one you have in “Tenkaichi 2” and another could be Guru's House. Another could be just a village. More effects in the game are great. Make little ditches form when someone fires an attack at the ground or when someone fly’s into the ground. When “Zarbon” fires that Elegant Blaster make it so it has that A-Bomb explosion like in the show. I don't want a cut scene for it, just a big explosion. Another effect people want is when someone is in the water his or her hair will go up. Better effects make the game really fun. Make it so if you shoot a blast at a building make it so there’s a hole in it. Don't make it be destroyed unless it is a bigger blast. When Buildings blow up make more rubble because most disappears. “Frieza's” transformations should have the voices of the ones in the series. They’re not all the same. The 2nd form is darker and 3rd is more alien like. Sometimes I wonder if you guys even watch the show when I play the game. :P In tournament modes don’t make me switch controls with my friend all the time if there are 2 players in tournament mode because there hands are sweaty. More levels can include places such as Space, “Planet Vegeta”, Planet Cannassa, and the Indian Boy’s house Under Kami's lookout. Make it so that you can go higher up in stages because some people might just want to air battle and their is not much room for it, like at Kami's lookout in “Tenkaichi 2” their is a air space but there is a barrier at the bottom so it's weird. If “Goku” uses pull spirit bomb against “Frieza's” 4th form power ball it just collides and disables both the attacks but in the show the spirit bomb absorbs the death ball so change that as well. For music, add the Japanese and EU songs from the show. Music from the show are so remarkable because that’s what made the battles exiting and adds to the suspense in ways. Subtitles are a big help to some people. There should be an option for turning subtitles on/off. Also, the opponent shouldn't be able to teleport out of the way and it would be twice as hard to move since time is slowed for them. That way ultimates would be a big deal, and you would be scared when someone launches one. Piccolo's SBC was perfect, it hardly did any damage until it was fully charged (which took an eternity), but when it was fully charged it did a ton of damage. Attacks like Final Flash and Master Roshi's kamehameha were about right in bt2, but neither of them looked very impressive. Roshi's Kamehameha was pretty freaking big in dragonball and it should be about the same size as 10x kamehameha(not with the same damage though) and have that fluffy kind of look the kameha's had back then. Final flash had better be about 10x the size it was in the last game; it looked more like "final generic blast". And Lastly, the longer you charge an attack, the bigger it should be (most attacks should be about twice the size they were in bt2). That's my thoughts on that.”-Weatherby Well this is a lot to ask for but this is what it takes to make the ultimant Dbz game. I hear people also want to have free roam and just battle across the earth and have battles around the whole planet. Things to think about, and more! yeah.. I have a short list (compared to some other people), but I feel it has it's important points.
1. Fix basic attack bugs. When fighting golden great ape baby, his melee attacks can reach farther than his fists actually go. It's enough to really mess with the outcome of the fight. 2. Remove useless Z Items. Especially anything that includes taunting near the opponet. The only time you can really get those off is if you're fighting a low level computer (Very Weak, and possibly Weak) 3. Include descriptions on the basic Z Items like +Ki. With some stats like that (or +Blast 1 is another example) it can be difficult to tell what it actually increased. 4. Better cut scenes. The ones that don't actually get animation are pretty lame. In BT2, the ending of the Broly the Second Coming was especially terrible. Also in the ending of Hildergarn, Tapion gave Trunks his sword, but without seeing the movie, there is no way of knowing this. 5. Change the world map (in adventure mode) to reflect what saga you're doing. During Tree of Might, the tree was mentioned several times, but was not seen once. 6. Bring back the Fatigue system from Budokai 3 (but let it be turned on or off.) In the show, if a character gets beaten really badly, they can't do much. In the game, it works the other way around, and it can be very difficult and frustrating to get a simple hit in. 7. Pre-battle talk scenes could use a major improvement. I couldn't believe it when I saw Goten Vs. Goku and Goten said "Nice to meet you." On a said note, they should get better facial expressions. Goku vs. Turles has Goku yelling "YOU WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS!" Goku is smiling the whole time. (In SS2 anyway.) Also, Goten has a pre-battle saying with Bardock, and they never actually met. Why is there no such creativity with characters like Gohan (any of em'. Kid Gohan is strictly with people he actually fought.) Also, SS3 Goku vs Normal form Vegeta (cell saga). Goku talks as if he doesn't even know he's in SS3! And why is it that when Broly wins and he's talking, you can see his mouth move, but his chin doesn't move at all? 8. In BT2, SS3 Gotenks made a reference to "Peanut Butter Jelly Time." If that got a reference, then where is "It's over 9000" or "Do you understand?" Both of these actually had something to do with DBZ 9. Tournament mode could be cooler. In BT1 you'd get a random Z Item for winning, in BT2 you got the same one every time. It needs one big Tournament where every character goes in. It would need to be hosted by Future Trunks, as it's only possible because of his Time Machine. 10. More well written what-ifs. In BT2, 3 what ifs were featured, only one (in my honest opinion) had a good plot line (Radditz what if.) How about create what-ifs that would need a what-if character. (SS Bardock or Majin Gohan could be interesting.) 11. Improve Ai. If a computer is set to powerful, I expect them to focus on melee, though there is still times where they stay away and do nothing but spam Blast 2s. 12. Tag teams were good ideas, but there wasn't much follow threw. How about special Blast 2's and Ultamite Blasts only useable with special teams? Like if SS2 Teen Gohan is fighting on his own, his UB is just Super Kamehameha. But if he's on a tag team with Goku, he then has Father-Son Kamehameha. 13. While this never happened in the Show, why not have Tag Team Tournaments? 14. More work put into UB. I will use the Father-Son Kamehameha as an example again (from this point on I'll just call it FSK). In Budokai 3, FSK looked a lot more like a struggle. Much like it was in the show. In BT2, it starts, then Goku pops up and yells "NOW!" and that's it. Very lame. 15. Better music. Less keyboards, more Electric Guitars . Something similar to Budokai 3 would be great.16. For the love of God, make Cells voice acting not suck. At his pre-battle sayings (in super perfect form for example) he sounds fine. For the Cell Games Tournament, my ears are bleeding at "There will be all sorts of strange characters on display!" 17. Less focus on random Henchmen characters and more focus on the characters people will actually use. Consider this when thinking of new characters for people to use. (Seriously, who uses Cui?) 18. Some sort of Endurance style match, 1 vs all. You fight till you drop! 19. Make Slug not fight like a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man. 20. Tutorial mode is fine, keep the "learn by doing" style, it's much better than learning by reading. However, some of the "story" to it is somewhat odd. Like when Puar is talking, and it shows a picture of Yamcha. Or how about "Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!! HIGH SPEED MOVEMENT!!" 21. Re-done leveling system. Less of the Z items, more of the base stats! There is no cap, and you can level: Health: self explanitory Strength: Increases melee damage. A high rating can make this character able to hurt someone with the "wall effect" (rating needed varies with character. Kid Gohan would need more than Vegeta for example.) Speed: Increases attack and movement speed, and the speed at which charged punches, charge up. (Rate at which speed can be increased varies with character.) Defense: Reduces Damage taken. A high rating will give you the wall effect (rating needed varies with character) Ki: Increases the speed at which you power up. (As rating gets higher, more is needed to keep things balenced.) Higher rating reduces Ki lost when your gaurd is broken. Blast one: Increases the rate at which your favorite techniques bar fills up. Also Increases the effects of favorite techniques (Kaioken, Power near the Very Limit, Kakorot ect.) Blast two: Increases Blast 2 damage done. Ultamite Blast: Increases Ultamite blast damage. It's basicly B3's leveling system, but with no cap and additional effects as it gets higher. When you get a "Very High" rating on a attribute, it becomes extremely hard to level after that. Just one thing that I have wanted to see for a long time. Power differences!! Its kinda lame that if ssj4 Goku is losing to Kid Gohan and so on. So if something like power differences was in the game it would be the best, just my suggestion..

Ok, first of all i would just like to say I am huge fan. I have played and mastered all of the budokai series. From my experience I haven't had much to complain about. The following are a list of ideas I think you should really consider.
1. The most important overall factor to unite the fans of DBZ is to intergrate an online fighting mode into the system. This would be monumental to dbz fans everywhere. As would Vegeta would say he would love the challenge. 2. I enjoyed the budokai series thus far. If you want to make the story mode for DBZ BT3 then my professional opinion would say to make the story mode by following the concept of Dragonballz Budokai 1. The cutscenes really inspired you to fight the next battle like you were really reliving the show. It should also integrate Bruce Falconer's soundtrack for the cutscenes. Make the cutscenes exactly like the show, make it feel like we are playing the show. 3. Other effects that i think will effect gameplay is add the ability to SKILLFULLY knock back an opponents Ultimate attack. Sort of like the beam struggle if you win your beam does the damage. In this case if you win you will knock back the Ultimate attack right back at them. 4. One last thing i would like to see is the satisfactory of beating your opponent, and I'm not talking about simply just falling down after defeat. I'm talking about disintegrated bodies, torn off apendages, broken bones, bllood, gaping holes, everything you need to be satisfied with knowing your opponent won't be coming back. 5. Oh and it would be wise to make it available for the XB0X 360. Not only a SMART idea but profitable there are alot of dbz fans in the xbox community All of this in my eyes is part of real DBZ experience, just add it on to they original game formula, and i GUARANTEE you will see great RESULTS!!! |

This is just what I think that should be implemented into the game to make absolutely worth full to the anime.
Read on... * Licensed Original Anime Cutscenes. * The Licensed Bruce Faulconer Music. Also a thing that disturbed me in the previous games is that the sounds effect sounded fake with no power in it whatsoever, I'd like to give a punch with a satisfied feeling like "Wow that was a hard punch in the face". * Epic Transformations so that you get that awesome DBZ feeling, and not some crappy random red/white light surrounding a character and transforming into another state. (would be great if theres a in-game anime cutscene of the transformation.) Also Transformations should be more difficult. (so that if you transform you really get the feeling you are powering up into something outstanding, you press the correct button and keep tapping it and raising you powerlevel until you achieve greatness, the left and right trigger could also do it.) * More various/stronger awsome attacks ( So that if you use Vegeta's Final Flash, the beam should load a lot longer that the standard attack but when released blow a hole into the earth) I also thinks that the beams are too small, they were bigger in the anime. Vegeta's Final Flash isn't bigger than Vegeta himself and it only takes 2 seconds to load it. look at the episode where vegeta blew a chunk out off Cell. The beams was at least 5x bigger than Vegeta himself and it took him 10 minutes to load it lol. Now I'm not saying that in-game the beam should take 10 minutes to load, but for god sake its Vegeta's Ultimate Attack it should least longer than 2 seconds. Budokai 3 had great Ultimate Moves. The Ultimates should also be able to Vanguish the opponent into Oblivion or rip off limbs. (piccolo lol) All Characters should have all attacks, for example again Vegeta's Galick gun, I should still be able to fire it when I'm Majin Vegeta. But that doesn't mean that Prince Vegeta (scouter) should fire a Big Bang Attack. And while we're at it talking about Vegeta, how many Vegeta's are there? I don't want to choose between 4 Vegeta's, just make Majin/Scouter Vegeta as a Alternate(but still with the signature attacks that period). * Dynamic Events/Environment I explain, If you use a Ultimate blast and hit it in the core of the planet that the actual planet will blow up in 5 minutes or so. This is just a example. Or random people/saiyans (lol) joining into the battle assisting or fighting with/against you. Yes that means that it would be cool if you could have a fight with more than just one opponent. No tag battles, I mean real life 2 v 2 battles. Or Brolly versus Goku/Gohan/Trunks/Piccolo and Vegeta! at the same time! * Powerlevels! It really irritates me when I play as Brolly, and I see that Kid Gohan can hurt me is just a fake feeling for me. What I want is that if you train your powerlevel will rise, and throughout the main story you will see that your character is becoming stronger and Stronger, no more ****ty items you have to equip, but just power level rise. Also rising your powerlevel during fights would decide who will outcome victorious. (example you shoot a large blast you will see at your scanner that your power level enlarges drastically, but will dry out after the shot because you're tired. No more KI Collecting.) Toying around with your enemy is also a cool thing to put in (throwing them around etc, lol) * Training This should be in as well, Hyper Bolic Time Chamber/ Gravity Room (including 10x/20x/100x/250x you know hehe) Just implemented as a mini game or something. To train your Characters Powerlevel before a important battle (remember Goku's training before meeting Frieza?) * Characters Come on! Yagerobi can fight?? Thats just lame, just as the forced Mr. Satan battles. Its okay to put them in as a bonus but please I dont want to Fight Android 18 with Mr. Satan... I rather want Android 13 and 14 instead. Hey guys, this thread is about all my ideas for BT3. Read them, think about them, and tell me what you think! well Here you go!
Obliteration Personally, I was unhappy at the fact that when a move like spirit bomb or final explosion was used and won you the fight, both characters were still visible they were just badly damaged. If an ultimate finishing move like super kamehameha or spirit bomb or whatever is used to win a fight, the other character should be obliterated. If a cutscene is used that would be cool but it would also be O.K. if you didn't see the character getting obliterated but instead there was just no character there. This shouldn't happen for every ultimate because some aren't that strong but it should definitely happen for the stronger ones. Rildo If rildo is a character he should have the ability to use the ground as a way to travel. It would be a favourite because if it was just a normal ability, that would be extremely cheap. When you activate the ability, rildo sinks down into the ground or into a nearby building and then you have temporary control over where you want him to emerge. When you get to your destination, press X and rildo will emerge as metal rildo but then he will change back. It could be one of his attacks too. It would be blast one. Rildo will sink down into the ground or a nearby building and then once again you have tempory control over where you want rildo to go. The opponent will be able to see you coming because when you travel, you will leave behind trails of metal. When you get to where you want to be, press [] or /\ and rildo will grab the opponent and pull them down into the ground. After 2 seconds the opponent will be "spat" out. I was thinking of this move list for Syn shenron, dragonballs absorbed, fav 1: Ice beam, freezes oppnent for 5 seconds. fav 2: Jelly splash, sucks 3 bars of ki away and stuns the opponent finish 1: Hurricane attack finish 2: Nova Star Ultimate: Dragon Reunion ( Syn smashes the ground, sending up a giant beam with the 6 dragons flying around it. then the beam dies out and the 6 dragons each do their special attack all at once.) after the beam dies out, the cutscene ends. Then the dragons do their attacks in real time. Extremely hard to dodge. The only way to dodge is to teleport out of the way. If hit, 2 health bars are taken away. EDIT: hey i just thought of something. Instead of ending the cutscene after the beam dies out, after the beam dies, it could show the 6 dragons doing preperations for their attack and then it could go into real time. Beam to ball struggles in budokai 3 you could do beam to ball... and i wish that beam struggles didnt go into a cutscene or change the camera view, it would be better Things to do with water If you are underwater, it would be cool to have an effect where if you transform, the screen starts to smudge and boil. If you reach max power underwater or do a powerful attack, the water could splash onto islands or it could split leaving solid ground to stand on in the middle of two giant water walls. Power down effect In the last game the power down effect was ugly! so i think the effect should be changed to a real time change. instead of going to a cutscene it would be better while the fight is going on to quickly change down. SS4 could start to glow then THE PERSON could go white and change back to gt goku who would be in this game for sure. ss3 could stand there in a crouched position with his hair getting slowly smaller until it was the normal size. Ss2 and 1 would just fade back to normal hair. First person view (optional to have on or off) hey wouldnt it be awesome if you could play in 1st person view for the game but it would be optional to have it on or off? i mean it would be friekin awesome to beat frieza in first person view and then see a cutscene that is still in first person view that shows goku giving frieza a bit of his energy and then him trying to get off the planet. THIS FEATURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE WII VERSION!!! Finishing Moves Finishing moves should be different for EVERY character. Spike needs to put effort into making every character different from each other if they want a good game. Also, i think when you initiate an ultimate finishing move, you should have to enter a button combination in order for it to work. For example: Trunk's Burning Slash is initiated. In order for it to be executed perfectly, [][][][]/\XOX/\ needs to be entered in 5 seconds. If there is one mistake, then the move will be executed but not completely and damage will be half. If more than two mistakes occur, then the move does not work at all. Also, you should have the ability to counter-attack or dodge a finishing move. This would be very hard to do but it wouldn't be impossible. You could either dodge by teleporting out of the way (can only be done when your life bar is in blue - green), jumping out of the way (can only be done in yellow life bar), or by being assisted out of the way (only works if there was someone nearby in the actual story or in a tag - team match and only in red life bar). In order to execute these dodges you would have to input a button combination with a specific analog stick movement at the end. For Wii you would need to do multiple actions with the wii-mote. To counter - attack, you would have to be in either blue - yellow life bars and you would need to dodge and during the cutscene (the dodge will be a short cutscene) you will need to input another button combination or analong movement. Other Special Ultimate Finishing Move Moments I was really pissed of at garlic's ultimate finishing move in bt2. ITS DEAD ZONE FOR GODS SAKE. In bt3, dead zone should suck you in and continue to damage you until you escape. I picture it like this: You get sucked in but then you engage in a mini - game where you have to try and escape before the opening to the dead zone closes. If you are in blue - green life bars, this will be easy. It will continue to get harder as you get into the lower life bars. It will almost impossible to escape at red life. If the opening closes, the battle is over. It doesn't matter if it closes when you're at green life, the battle is over. Finishing Move Deflection Wouldnt it be cool if you were someone thats way stronger than ur opponent, for example krillin vs gogeta. If krillin fired a kamehameha right at the beggining of the battle and if you press O at the right time you deflect the blast away like it was nothing and it effected your opponent. in krillin's case he could become less confident, making his punches and kicks and kii blasts weaker, or if it was goku (normal) against syn/omega shenron, goku could get a confidence boost and he could power up faster or something. but in order to deflect a blast away, the blast has to be during the opponents green lifebar or if the blast is less than 12000 damage then it can be deflected. Jenempa and Jenemba attack i just watched the fusion movie and i thought it would be cool if jenempa and jenemba had the move where they create a portal and punch thru it so that it hits the other person wherever he is. It would be kinda cheap but it could be fun to have in a dbz game. Just think, instead of flying to the other side of the map, you can just punch thru a hole and hit your oppenent. Btw if it is added to a game like tenkaichi 3 it shouldnt be a finisher, it should be part of a combo The size of Oozaru The size of oozaru in dbz games is unrealistic to the show. Oozaru is too small. They did make him bigger in bt2 but he is still to small. If you look at the show, goku is the size of oozaru vegata's shin, or even his knee. Hildegarn was a good size though. Also, I think if an oozaru punches the ground it should create a crater and get its hand stuck in the ground for a couple of seconds. Some people were complaining that if you increase the size of oozaru to how big it was in the show, the game will be very hard. Well if an oozaru gets it's hand stuck in the ground for a couple of seconds, that is your chance to attack! If the size of oozaru is increased then they will be punching downwards often. If you are oozaru and you get your hand stuck in the ground, you will have to rapidly press buttons to get it out like you would if you were stunned. My largest ideas for bt3 I think that you should make story mode like you did in the first game but instead of choosing your battles, you fly around an enviroment similar to budokai 3 just more lush. They should be big enough so that you can run around in them and search for things for more than 5 minutes. If the enviroment was the size of the one in SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS which would be HUGE but easy to navigate it would be good. If it is as big as GTA SA thats good too. When you fly to a certain location, there is a cut scene and your battle will start. When you transform to a higher form (super sayain etc.) It would be cool to add some effect where rocks would fly up and you would create a giant crater in the ground like in the show. Now if you choose to make the enviroment in the way i said in my first paragraph, then in a fight it would be awesome if you could fight around the whole planet. To make one revolution around the whole planet it could take 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on your character. But in a fight it would always take 30 seconds. It would be cool if say goku was on one side of the planet and buu was on the other and goku fired a kamehameha that could either go straight through the planet or if goku fired it straight and it went around the planet and hit buu on the other side. If you fired the attack straight through, it would take 7 seconds to get across. If you fired it around it would take 15 seconds. If you fired the blast through the planet however, it will effect the planet. For example the planet could blow up in a period of time and/or the ground could deteriorate so if you are on ground and the planet starts to kick the bucket, then you will be swept underground and be stuned or sent to a certain doom. it would also be better if you did a finishing move, it wouldnt come up on the screen. This way, you can fire a surprise kamehameha to someone on the other side of the planet without them knowing it is coming. Also it would be cool to fly straight through the planet without making the flight a cutscene. This way you dont have to spend 30 seconds flying to the other side and no damage is done to the planet. But this would only be able to be done by the more powerful people. it would be cool to fight at the core of the planet you are on. However spend to long and you will start to lose health because of heat. If the planet you are on starts to blow up, then you could quickly escape to space and continue your fight there. Obviously space should have boundaries and it should have physics to it. For example if you are fighting in space around a planet like earth then the acts of the fighters will be the same because of the gravity. Well there you have it! All of my ideas for Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Please read (if you want to) each suggestion carefully and read the entire suggestion because i say alot of things. Tell me what you think!

I would list my ideas, but I'm too disappointed that they didn't take the time to consider some of the previous ideas I've made here. Although they did use my idea of combining Supersonic Warriors and Budokai in making Budokai Tenkaichi. And they did finally decide after years of telling them to finally install that caption of having a character physically look up at the moon or lunar blast in order to transform. In addition, they also put in my idea of changing combat configurations of the game depending on your distance from the opponent. Too bad they forgot to completely change the configurations to resemble Budokai for close combat, but oh well...
But because they forgot to make Pan look like 14/15 years old, I've decided to decline in having my ideas contributed to future DBZ games. Edit: There is one idea I would like to add in. I've been thinking this over to some extent and I have came up with a great proposal. Have you ever notice how little the changes are in each upcoming DBZ game? It certainly seems that either they aren't trying hard enough or the progress is just so long term from what they need to accomplish a game of true dbz likeness. I bet Kamiccolo and some of you other guys are aware of what I'm talking about. But what if Spike or Dimps could possible establish an online game that you had to download online (this would be a key element in 360 and Wii) to a blank disc provided from Atari that could story the information and update with any additional downloads that were made as Spike or Dimps made progress in improvements for the game. You can certainly say that it might be a bad venture for Atari/Dimps or Spike since they couldn't profit off of additional games. However, they could insist on charging on the additional editions made for the game that are presented online. All Dimps or Spike has to do is establish the skeleton of this program that could work on adding additional features and eventually become the game we all want and had waited so long to have. I'll try to summarize it. Dimps/Spike makes the skeleton or basic outline of the game for atari, which is hosted online as a downloadable game by Nintendo or Microsoft. You buy a blank disk provided by Atari on the Wii or 360 and designed specifically to save the information you've downloaded. You go online on your Wii/360 to download the actual game. Atari can host newer edditions of this game made by Dimps/Spike on the Wii/360 for which you can download to improve the game in quality and features. In the long run, Atari has a lot to profit if it could charge for each new feature made. And we could benefit on this long project to eventually have the game we all want. man you guys have said every thing. man if spike or atari don't put mainly epyon's ideas and a couple of there people idea's on this thread then spike and atari are idiots. i mean come on you guys shouls be game developers instead of spike and atari because i read mostly everone idea's and they serously need to add them. i mean come on they can't say that the ps2, xbox, or what ever don't have enough space. Atari and spike are just lazy and they really need to listen to you guys. Because if they really want to make a great not just a ok dbz game, but a great dbz game, then they need to read yall's suggestions. DBZ budokai tenkachi 3 would be one of the best games ever if they put yall ideas in this game. if they don't then i won't even bother to buy the next game. But the idea's i like the most is epyon's because he done said everything except a couple of things. no disrespect to anyone posting idea, but epyon has said eveything the next game needs on rpg terms. But i like all you guys ideas and atari needs to listen to u guys

I don't know if anybody posted this yet, but Spike still needs to fix SS1 Gogeta's Stardust Breaker. The Stardust Breaker needs to have the invisible punches, and the two knee kicks like it did in B3.

-when rush punches collide u need that firework sound, but not the one that already comes out when dash attacks or charged attacks come out -"fight again" - don't replay the same song if I have it set to random cuz that makes the "fight again" boring -screen shake when I reach max power and a quick small crater. maybe two screen shakes. tweak this the longer the power up is -clothes ruffling like the hair -break kami's lookout into several peices -bigger auras -aura sound when I'm at max power -everyone needs super movement and 3 banishing attacks -the super movement should move 2 blocks not 1 -I want to see the kamikaze ghosts faces! -grapple lock shootout

Don't really have a long list of chars or changes to areas or anything like that because most of it has been said. The only thing that would be really nice would be is making the character levels go higher. Cause stopping at lv 160 really didnt feel that great when i saw how powerful the computers could be in T2; example raditz at lv 228. But raising the lvs to like maybe 300 would be great or even 250.

here r my ideas
Gameplay when u charge up there should be rocks floating up and wind blowing and the earth shaking when u charge up. In bt2 when u knock ur opponent away instead of tapping circle could we just press the 3 buttons like in bt1. when u get hit to the floor or a blast miss there should be craters in the ground and u should look more damaged up and in bt2 when certain people reach max power and u press up, down left, or rigth and circle they teleport into the direction u pressed can u do that 4 all characters and dont let us have to be in max power to do it but make it take off some of our ki energy by only 1 bar. and make the place like one giant stage. what that means is that if i choose to fight at the islands i should be able to fly over to the city and fight there as well instead of 1 area with invisible walls blocking us. and put back in the dodgeing from budokai 3 back into the gameplay instead of always blocking. when u send ur opponenet flying and u press tringle u should be able to press it as much times as u want to becasue i want to stay on the attack without getting hit. we should also be able to dodge energy blats instead of blocking and knocking them away. also with the rush attack put in a button sequence so we can dodge it. also could u make more than 1 person figth at a time instead of 2 on 1 where only 2 people are fighting and the other one is just doing nothing make all three able to fight at the same time, and make us able to do tag team attacks Eg. goku, gohan, and gotem are all on the same team. and i am goku and i have 3 blast stocks i should be able to make gohan and goten come together and we all blast a kamehameha at the same time. ( as shown below ) ![]() Characters ther should be only be 2 vegetas. vegeta with scouter and vegeta. vegeta should have ss, super vegeta, ss2, majin vegta, ss4 all in game transformation 4 one character. vegeta wit scouter should have great ape vegeta.and goku should only be 1 character. instead of putting ss4 goku and goku in different characters. please put more charaters in the game with more in game transformation. Story The story should be longer and the free roaming should be better and put in more RPG in the game. make us able to walk around the city instead of just talking to 1 person. and make something that when we go to look for the dragonballs we dont have to smash stuff and it just pops out make us have to fly sround and look 4 it with the dragon radar. and stopping making us press x everytime someone says something just put a clear cutscene instead of always pressing x it gets annonying after a time. Stages More stages on planet namek and have a space stage all the stages should be put together instead of 1 fighting area. if i am fighting at the islands i should be able to fly over to the city and fight there as well or the glacier. also i should be able to fly as high as i can and go into space and fight there as well and then be able to fly over to namek. (no invisible walls) Modes More modes to do stuff would be cool. make a mode where we can buy episodes and movies from the series so we can watch them at anytime and whenever we want to. when the characters want to do their finish mode u should put back hyper mode 9 saiyan overdrive system) from dbz budokai 3
you should take off that barrier and let the characters go anywhere they wan to go you should put this into thought (cell saga) when gohan and cell doing the kamehameha wave beam struggle goku should have been super saiyan while helping gohan not normal state and vegeta should have been super saiyan when he fire the blast on cell not normal state if u bring back the little scenario at the end of the important battles you should put one with goku and frieza when frieza sneak attack trying to kill goku while flying away and goku turn around and blast him in tenkaichi 3 i think they need to put hiredugarn first form u know from dbz movie 13 wrath of the dragon Last edited by Marby; 06-09-2007 at 02:30 PM. Feasible Ideas - Not so feasible (but still feasible) ideas!
I’ve completely changed my post after realizing that the producers aren’t going to put an incredibly high number of characters and stages. So this post was written considering the information we all have about the game. This post is also the product of a Dragon Ball games’ “research” I’ve done to better base my suggestions on. Hope you like them.
Index:
2) 2 Vs 1 Fights – eg. When Radditz fights Goku and Piccolo, the two Z fighters attack at the same time. This might be possible if Radditz (in this example) was stronger than in previous games so that he could actually handle both Goku and Piccolo like in the Manga and Anime. 3) 2 Vs 2 Fights – eg. In Garlick Jr. Saga, Gohan and Krillin fight Yamcha and Master Roshi (at least in BT2) i) This would open ways for 2 players Coop mode or even *4 players simultaneously (*although it would require a big screen to do so)
i) This would also make ways for other goals besides the existent
2) There should be more transformations so it would create more diversified characters, for example, King Piccolo transforming from old to young; Piccolo fusing with Nail and then with Kami (like in Budokai3); Krillin Unlocking Potential (like in Budokai3); etc.. i) Transformations must be in real time, no more animations or cutscenes. ii) Look at Budokai 3’s transformations (dust, stones and lightning circling around the character)
2) All blasts (except rush attacks) should be in real time
Story Mode
2) Dragon Ball GT Saga needs fixing and there must be Goku GT (kid) with/ without the tail so we can go from Goku base to Goku SSJ4 and also feel like we’re really playing the real story. 3) There must be a World Map like in Budokai 3 and BT2 and not just storytelling and fighting like in BT. Still, Budokai 3’s world map system was much better than BT2’s because there is plenty more to it than just flying from one red dot to the next. Finding the Dragon Balls is much more fun in Budokai 3 than in Tenkaichi’s games because you have to find them during the fight which can be frustrating. i) Being able to fly higher and go down and actually touch the ground would be also a great accomplishment and add on to the game. ii) Also if there were more people in the cities or something instead of one person waiting to give some advice or a capsule. iii) In Dragon Ball Saga (if you make one) don’t forget Flying Nimbus (kintoun or whatever). 4) Playing the Heroes or Villains’ side could be an option or maybe just one character like in Budokai 3. Other Game Modes
i) Players should be able to choose whether the tournament allows DB, DBZ, DBGT or all characters. This way you as Kid Goku won’t be made to fight against Omega Shenron if you don’t want to. ii) Also hoping there will be the different tournament rings – DB, DBZ and Other World Miscellaneous
i) Level 1 – ragged clothes Level 2 – clothes badly damaged, blood and scratches Level 3 – shirtless, pants torn ii) Damage could be “unique” to each character. To exemplify I’ll use Goku: Level 1 – ragged clothes (the way you end up when you lose in BT2) Level 2 – gi top torn blue shirt showing, bloody Level 3 – shirtless and pants torn (when he defeats Frieza) iii) Future Gohan and Piccolo (as well as other Namekians – Nail and Slug) could lose an arm in Damage Level 3. iv) How the levels could be reached: Level 1 – when you’re hit with the first Blast or Rush Attack Level 2 – three bars from KO Level 3 – last energy bar These are some suggestions for damaged characters: Level 1: Goku; Teen Gohan; Krillin Level 2: Piccolo w/out cape; Goku; Teen Gohan; Kid Trunks;Gohan; Level 3: Piccolo with cape; Piccolo; Goku; Kid Trunks; Future Gohan; Vegeta GT
New Characters (taking for granted all 135 characters that were in BT2 for Wii)
o Kogu o Toma (Base, Great Ape) o Nail o King Cold o King Vegeta (Base, Great Ape)
o Vegeta GT (Base, SSJ2, SSJ4) o Trunks GT (Base, SSJ) o Goten GT (Base, SSJ) *this is a total of 157 counting with a transformation for King Piccolo; I know they said there were 150 characters but they said 120 for BT2 for PS2 and there were 129. Characters Modification Suggestions · Transformations 1) Kind Piccolo (Piccolo Daimao) should have a transformation from Old to Young King Piccolo. 2) Ultimate Gohan should be a transformation of Gohan (Gohan – Base, SSJ, SSJ2, Ultimate). 3) Kid Gohan should transform into Great Ape. 4) Kid Goku’s Ultimate Blast should be the Great Ape Punch with which he kills King Piccolo and not a Super Kamehameha · Outfits 1) Some characters lacked really important outfits (like Teen Gohan) and others could have had plenty more which would have made the game a lot more interesting. Here’s a list of the outfits some characters could/ should have in the game. i) It would be fun to have an option where to choose whether your character is dead (halo) or alive (no halo). ii) In this list I’m excluding the damaged outfits. It would be a great deal of fun choosing our character’s hair (eg: Teen Goten GT (long/ short hair; which shirt/ pants/ shoes/ insignia etc.) i) For example, players would have the character in front of them like in Budokai 3 and they would be able to choose from a set of hairdos and gis and tails in case you’re a saiyan but nothing made up. Everything taken from the manga/ anime. New Stages

This way you could have an extra Stage instead of Ruined Earth. 3) Night and Day should also be an option if it isn’t already. 4) Tournament Rings (original and DBZ) should be destructible though hardly (crates and dented corners and sides) so we don’t get the feeling that our Blasts have no power at all. also i would like to see these characters king cold king vegeta kid vegeta rest of bardocks team rest of bojacks team rildo baby(before he took over vegetas body normal) Hatchyack turles team friezas solider(customize) the rest of coolers team gt vegeta gt goku hirudagarn 1st form tapions brother bio brolly lord slug henchmen bojack(all forms)i think they should add effects like the wind blowing your characters hair or rain.also they should add a feature so when you are being attacked by a ball you can use your hands to delflect it like goku and supernova.they need more scenarios in the story mode because it dosen't take long to complete it they could try more what if scenariosalso when you power up or transform the ground should crack and rocks should rise and things like thatplus they should have battles were you fight more than one person at once like you vs 2 other people who are both on thew batlle feild attacking you at the same time and it has to be on ps2 also with garlic junior when he uses dead zone you should be sucked in and you have to try and escape before it closes if you don't escape then you automaticaly die Last edited by limbok; 06-11-2007 at 03:31 AM. |

people have put alot of thought in to some of these posts on this thread!!
and most of them are saying the same things, but ill write down somethings ive thought of.... firstly like some characters like kid goku (dragonball) have moves they shouldnt...his ultimate should be an oozuru punch thing he did against king piccolo!! something ive thought of is possibly having cut scenes when someone is finsihed off with an ultimate blast, made some catchy phases..eg if vegeta beats up android 19 you see him get his hands blown up and decapitated. (because that guy annoys me) and its what happend...vegeta should also chop guildos head off, just because he can. nothing graffic im not saying lets put a load of blood and gore everywhere, but maybe something like was done with kid gokus super fist in budokai 3 where he flys threw people! that was cool!! i think characters need a power boost, i dont get any sort of thrill when i transform unlike i did in budokai 3. theres some purple squiggles and then pop..'oh look im a super sayan' also when you transform in to an oozaru during day, you should only be able to with certain characters like bardock who makes a fake moon!! also once transformed if its possible to have a mini game once their tails been hit enough or something to figure if like they have it cut off and transform back to normal, or if possible to allow people to blow up the moon with a lucky shot or something. if your keeping in the barriers i would like to see if a blast is shot off it doing damage, in the ring and out...allowing for some the world tornament stage to be blown up or for planets to be destroyd. back to the finishers, during the game if ultimate attacks are used, namely beam and ball ones, perhaps creating large trenches or creators if it hit the opponent, otherwise if it hits blowing up the world should look better, i think again budokai 3 did this best!! another thought ive had is that on certain parts of the arena if their smashed into it then it means that they are hit to another arena, linking up with hiting people into outter space or off kamis lookout to the ground, or if you wanted to korins tower, have a cut scene where they get thrown into it then thrown to hte ground. im thinking of expanding ideas from Super Dragonball! because on that it was possible to fight in snake way then get hit hard threw thte clouds in the HELL OR HFIL, and i think thats a brilliant idea... i would love to see things like people gettting inbedded in walls and having to minigame there way out, like inbedded and if you grab them you go to the minigame and if they lose they are again subjected to a cut scene where they are pounded into rock before being thrown away. when two fighters clash maybe having it so that they clash then during it if you press L2 + X then you fly off and the clash starts again with shockwaves being given off when they come together!! that would be cool and it happens alot in the series. the clash and exchange of fists atm is good but its short and its over before you get the feeling of battling or enjoying the fight, in budokai 3 when it happend it changed angles and lots of cool stuff happend. adding to this idea maybe like of the third clash is the maximum and in this one they lock hands and then its an analog struggle to find the winner. this would make the game seem alot more 'realistic' and also add speed to the fighting. it would be amazing if during gameplay its possible to renact the opening scene i from budokai 3 where freiza and goku lock hands in a shatering mountain!! if it like slowed time down and when they clashed if it happens to be in a mountain or building that it shatters slowly and the camera rotates and zooms in, would be AWESOME! I reckon Ledgic should be a character, as he has like 3 weapons and 2 blasts atleast, and was called strong if he trained by a GT Goku, so he cant be that ...thought from earlier...When characters transform into an oozaru they should do it by making a fake moon ball, and once transformed if like take enough damage to their tails and then you grab it a mini game happens when you can pull off their tails or cut them off transforming them back into there normal state!! Or if they transformed using the moon, blowing up the moon (should lead to scenes like in opening of budokai 2 where moon is cut in half by a kamehameha!!) it would be cool to be able to fight in space, and in the other world tornement! piccolo + pikkon should be allowed to power up where it shows them removing weighted clothing! Rushes should have a more powerful impact like in budokai 3 where Brolys move smashes peoples head threw the floor before laughing, in tenkaichi 2 all he does is the same thing but instead of mashing them into the ground all he does is move a little dust around...it looks alot worse than in the earlier game also hes not as menacing!! some moves dont look like they should do, altho dragonfist is good! and a number of characters have the same move but call it something else..we're not all retarded...did you really think we wouldnt notice that the hit them round in a circle move was on at least 5 characters! Coolers attack isnt called sauzer blade it should be salzaa blade..(the french dude in coolers team) also kid gohans ultimate should be done with one arm!! Guildo was too weak, at least allow him to freeze time for a few seconds by holding his breath! lol i reckon a good stage would be in the Grand kais room with all the scaled down universe...imaging standing on planets and blowing stuff up..*drools a little* Alot of people are asking for a customise character option, altho this isnt entirely bad, and since i first heard it it has grown on me a bit, but i think it would take up alot of space, i was thinking of a sort of comprimise where instead of characters having all there moves in the start possibly giving them basic moves and then as they train up allowing them to obtain harder moves...training can happen in the training arena or like throughout the game play, something like this is already in it, like not being able to transform till after frieza saga but im talking about like customising the moves available to characters, altho not having all moves annoys me, like have 10 possible moves per character but only like a 8 slots or something with better characters get more slots like goku should have 10 or something, i dunno...just throwing up ideas now i like ball vs beam ideas, and i like the idea that its possible to block ultimate attacks if using ki based defense. loving the thought of trunks lifting up a supernova attack from mech freiza, or a deathball...or kid buu walking pushing back the spiritbomb!! altho with goku he should have different spirit bombs, like if its a fully powered spirit bomb...done give me energy 6 times, then it should become a super spirit bomb where he turns into a supersayan and has a cut scene where hes like....'i wish to fight you again one day' before blasting the spirit ball into the ground!! also i liked in budokai 3...vegetas..'Welcome to super vegetas big bang attack!'...then if you won..'Welcome to oblivian!' that was pretty awesome! atm the cut scenes are a bit boring, vegetas pride of the sayans or whatever its called attack has like a speach that lasts a very long time!! before its a rush! and they should include all of gokus...'i am the light' speach to frieza after he turns into a super sayan! the ki defence is a bit unresponsive and needs a bit of work as it doesnt seem to work properly, well thats for me anyways! the combos atm are good and loving the giant throws! and the unblockable big hits when you've powerd up to the limit followd by punchs and a blast 2. when in dragon mode and you use the lock on button, i think it should be more like budokai 3 or 2...where the screen turns blue and you can see energy and can look at them and choose which one to go to, after doing that it blasts off to it imediately, dissapearing off screen and back down! basically i think that if your going to make a game and put the 'Ultimate' name on it, it should try to include things that fans want and i know that the opening scenes on all the budokai games (2+3 especially) and super dragonball and tenkaichi 1 (v.good) and 2 almost made me dribble in anticipation! if the game can even have 2/3rds the amount shown on these scenes i think it would be AMAZING! ive got all the games and jsut looking back at the opening scenes gets my hyped! you can tell that on some loads of effort has been made to stay true to what fans are looking for! loving the smiles on Gokus andVegetas faces on tenkaichi 1 and the 3 sayans on tenkaichi 2, and the hand locks between frieza and goku on budokai 3!! well i think ive dribbled enough..*looks at huge wet patch on floor* let me know what you think of my ideas, send me a message or something!! cheers! ![]() i forgot to add....i think that two on one battles would be awesome, if like it was at the same time...would make fusing fun, i want to see the dance! also there should be something that means if you get it wrong you turn out wrong...thinking janemba fight here, or on kamis lookout! but then they split after a while and then have to wait a bit before allowing to try again, but if they get it right stay fused and one player controls it, namely the player that starts it...until a longer timelimit is up! unless they choose a fusion at the start then they do not sparate! also i think the fusions goku thought up should be included like the fusion with piccolo and the one with hurcule! lol yeah i think it should be an option in the option bits as to what type of music you want!! also 1st form hildergarn would be good! instead of teleporting he becomes like that untouchable smoke stuff, would be awesome ![]() ![]() Last edited by Marby; 06-10-2007 at 02:19 PM. ![]() I'd like to see the following: 1) A highly customizable character creation system. It does not have to be incredibly invasive, but I'd like to be able to choose the following - General facial things like eyes, nose, skin, mouth, shape and tone - Clothing ( Differentiate torso, legs, boots, arms and accessories) with a large colour palette. - Select from existing moves for your character with the option of renaming it and its colour. The option to change the colour of your aura should be there too. - Voice and stance 2) The stages should be about 2x bigger possibly with a story mode more similar to Naritimate hero 3. Story cut scenes need some work too, not simply models on a fighting background and having the screen shake a bit to emphasise a yell or power up. It might be a lot of work, but people loved B1 for its cutscenes. 3) The 20 characters and the upgraded character models are not as important as other features. Though it is necessary to get more of the important characters in this game, this should not be the main selling point of improving this game. However I'd like to see Hatchyack, GT Dragons, GT Vegeta, GT Trunks, GT Goku, Golden Oozaru, GT goten, SSJ Broly (This could be an alternate costume to Legendary saya-jin Broly), First form Hirudagarn, Kid Krillin, The rest of Bojack's men, Dr. Wheelo, Bio-Broly and Bacterian. That's all I got off the top of my head. 4) Some battle effects need improvements. - Auras should depend on the character and ascension. Broly's should be bigger than Krillin's. - The power ups in Budokai 3 were closest to perfection. Dust effects, rising rocks, dust sweeping away from the character. - When throwing small ki blasts, as more are thrown the dust should grow around the victim as more bolts hit. - Ascensions should not have a cut scene so the battle flows, like Budokai 3. - Rush moves should be customisable using a button sequence system so the player is doing more and can guide what could essentially be a custom combo , ending the move with a large ki blast if necessary. For instance; SSJ Goku's instant kamehameha. Initiate the move by hitting the opponent into the air. Then you get the choice of of hitting (for arguments sake) ^ to hit them up, O to hit them straight, x to hit them down. Depending on this, the opponent will adapt and shoot the direction you are. Naturally you'll teleport and hit them from behind, but at least you feel more involved and you have some control over where your opponent will end up after the move. Just gives you more control. The final move should be chargeable too. - Aura should grow as your Ki grows. - Craters on the ground when hit to the floor. 5) More alternate costumes. The most popular requests seems to be; Yardat Goku, Saya-jin armour Goku, Pink shirt Vegeta, Movie 9 Teen Gohan, Teen Gohan with Namek weighted armour, Movie 9 Trunks. 6) Team play. Some battles, for instance SSJ4 Vegeta and Goku vs Shen-ron, in the series they attack at the same time, not in a tag team format. I think there should be the option for two controlled players and a computer player at once. Like the dramatic battles on Street Fighter Alpha 3. This adds another dimension to multiplayer and also allows the option for team combos. The best example I can think of is to make this as specific as possible is; Player 1 (Me) playing as SSJ1 Goku, Player 2 (A friend) playing as SSJ2 Vegeta and the computer (with heightened difficulty to compensate for the doubled man power from the opponent) as Final Janemba. Player 2 knocks Janemba into the air, where player 1 uses instant translocation and knocks him back at Player 2. Player 2 uses Gallick gun on a helpless oncoming Janemba. There is endless potential for combos like that. 7) If there is Day and Night, I'd like weather too for drama. 8) Need Janemba's hell as a stage!! That's all I can think of right now. I feel I've gone over bored a bit because console and man power can only take a gaming team so far. But I think my most important suggestions are 2, 4 and 6. |

ok here are my idea's not a long list beacause you are already near to do a good game
1 stop concentrating on the character concentrateon the fighting sistem 2 teleportation and dodging should be everitime you want to 3 power up should be more intense 4 character should have like more facial expression like when you teleport behind him he should be like uhhhhh and turning is head fast 5 make the game faster beacause the game is not like the show 6 the environment should be more destructive like note only the mountain but also the ground like when doing a really hard punch a crate appears 7put a 2 vs 2 combat that system could work like dbz legend on ps1 And actually the game look like it a little 8teleportation should be more speddy 9 put teleportation batlle like in the show exemple : vegeta kick goku teleport behind him goku teleport above of him kicking him but no vegeta teleport left to him and trows a blast at him 10if you can try putting a kick system 11 forgot to tell the most important thing CREAT A DANM STORY EVERYONE KNOW DRAGON BALL DO LIKE SHIN BUDOKAI CREAT A STORY AND CREAT SOME FUSION ok thats all thaths all i hope that my suggestion were ok OHH and sorry if my grammar is not good i live in canada quebec i i mainly speak french so sorry |

When you have alot of energy hair should turn gold like the show, and when you are at a minimum state of energy the hair should be gold\white like the show.
There should also be no cut scenes when you transform, you should be able to just go ahead and do it without the other player needing to wait nor everything stopping. You should also be able to transform while flying and fighting like the show. |

Hi im new to this posting.
my suggestion: In Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - Dragon Adventure - there was no relation to Dragonball storyline. there was only Dragonball Z and GT. there are characters from Dragonball but no storyline for them. as far a i can recall there is no relation to dragonball in any of the other games. could you please put a storyline for dragonball. Also there are more characters in GT then there are in BT2. Here's what the real deal for DBZ Tenkaichi 3 should be:
Character Death Moves Signature death moves with classic cut seens from Budokai 3 to recapture the essence of the Dragonball series. Return of Ultimate Attacks and Hyper Combos from Budokai 3. Character ability to use all death moves from the series; hyper combos using animation cut scenes. Primary examples: Goku-Destructo Disc (Goku used this against Super Buu) SSJ3 Goku-Super Kamehameha as Hyper Combo (Powerful Kamehameha used against Kid Buu in episode 266 "Minute of Desperation") SSJ3 Goku-One handed Kamehameha as Hyper Combo (Goku also used this version of the Kamehameha against Kid Buu and blasted a whole straight through Supreme Kai's world) SSJ3 Goku-Invisible Energy Blast (Goku simply blasted Kid Buu away with energy from his hands) SSJ3 Goku-Final Flash (Goku used his own small version of the Final Flash against Kid Buu) Vegeta-Super Ki Blast Volley Hyper Combo(Vegeta was famous for using Ki blast volleys against Cell and Kid Buu) Vegeta-Energy Rings (Vegeta used rings made of energy against his fight with Goku at SSJ2) Vegeta-Atomic Blast Hyper Combo (Vegeta destroyed half the World Tournament arena with this powerful blast) Background Music Background music should include popular theme music from performer Bruce Falconer. High Speed Fighting DBZ characters had the ability to enter a high speed fight at will during the series. Tenkaichi 3 characters should have the same ability to give the game the same intense, fast paced feeling of the fights on the TV series. I want to bring the feel of the series straight to the game. I hope my suggestions have provided some insight onto what I think the DBZ gamer will enjoy in this evolution of a great fighting game. Make "very strong" in Duel Mode a lot harder...beating your own lvl160 LSSJ Broly at Very Strong with a lvl 58 character isn't that fun.
Also adding a similar level of difficulty on Story Mode instead of just 1,2 and 3 wouldn't hurt. On the subject of Broly, it would be nice if they made his (and other characters of that power with the similar fault) simple ki blasts more powerful...I can't believe they gave Broly ki blasts that simple fade a few feet ahead of him, something more along the lines of his Trap Shooter attack would be nice on a smaller scale
