A car pack is coming! Pics inside!

So today, cruising downtown, I come across another filler car. I already have the patch. There is no filler car. So WTF is going on? This filler car has Ferrari F40 rims.
The driver? A person named “Cwiniger26”
A filler car. Possibly testing online for Atari?
I managed to shoot two pics in the short time before he disappeared.
He/she said the car was a class B, and searching on the map for a champion Class B brought him/her up as “car not downloaded”

Is this proof that a car pack is on the way?

A search as to the Xbox 360 car packs revealed that the F40 was in the 3rd car pack.

I am actually excited, I want some new cars in this game. Since the R34 and RS4 came out, I've been driving those cars almost all day.

I dont think we will have to pay for our DLC's though, because there will always be a way to download them for free. (I am not trying to promote pirating or w/e)

I only tried the Skyline so far. I really hate to admit this being a huge american muscle car fan. The Skyline actually is pretty sweet. Quick and handles nice.

As u can see, the xbox360 launch pack is wat we got first, as well as what xbox360 users got first. This gives us an idea of the future cars we r going to get and the general order.

Nice one Xmod , I believe you ( T'is I, Lex BTW ) . Indeed it would seem that extra cars could indeed be on the way , but IIRC wasn't there some kind of glitch that gave you a filler car ? And if so , couldn't one of the many members of a modding community have slapped those wheels on such a car ? I know this is a bit of a stretch but , it is feasable is it not?
But I really do hope for more cars in TDU (plus a proper ****ING PATCH ) , as it is required in my view to ensure the continued sale and enjoyment of TDU .

Hmm, I actually saw this the other day aswell. Didn't really hit me to take pics or anything. But yeah, car packs seem like they are more possiable now. Looking forward to the SRT 10 Coupe, and Ruf R Turbo. F40 will be fun aswell.

Yes the 288 GTO has same rims, but still that seems to be a new car since 2 players seeing def car instead of a 288 is rther weird

In folder Euro/Bnk/Vehicles/Rims there's files for all rims. Iv'e menage to change one file, by renameing it, and put those rims on my F430. After 10 or maybe 15 minutes game crash, because i meet another F430. You can experiment with that, but make sure you made a backup of a folder before you do so.

Well....I spoke to the guy I know at ATARI and he assures me there IS a DLC pack comin' for PC users and the magic word FREE was mentioned )

The only problem is.....he cannot tell me when. Not that he WON'T tell me but rather ATARI themselves haven't set a date for it's release. I believe this can be attributed to the fact they wanna test them some before making the pack freely available to all users.

IMO though, if your encounter with that filler car the other night, is anything to go by, we don't have TOO long to wait

The next question I asked my mate was "Are there to be any new BIKES in this or any other subsequent DLC pack" and to my dismay the answer was a definate NO Which, I must admit rattles me a little, since I predominantly ride bikes ingame......but alas....what can you do? Atleast ATARI would appear to be honering their commitment to supplying extra cars for everyone....which is all they said they would do.

On a lighter note, swapping RIMS ingame is still possible after PATCHING So atleast I still get my "1 OF A KIND" ZX10
