^I have 4 pieces imported.

I just wanted to show you how this set can work.

^Day.

I am working on one piece that has not yet been imported yet:
This Image Was Automatically Resized by using the Shot Tag. Click to view the full version
^This piece will be versitle in the way that I will be making signs that you can stick on the pole, and will be a billboard for you to customize.
[IMG]resource://gre/res/broken-image.gif[/IMG]
^This will be one texture for you to edit, and will be mapped in the way that it will look good.

Please give some ideas for what other things I should add, and constructive criticism is welcome.

(P.S. I was also wondering if you can have an alpha on a billboard?)

Your pics are too large, though. Please use shot tags instead of image tags. Pics should be no larger than 800 x 600. Thanks! I'll fix the first one and let you fix the rest.

The roads look great! Very realistic looking.

Are you going to make intersections and exits and such? For example, a T-intersection, a four-way, etc.

One thing your set is missing is shoulders. Also, it might be better to make the highway lanes 1.5 tiles wide and the regular roads if you do any at 1 tile wide. Cause remember on a freeway, you are going at high speeds and more room is needed for correction.

It would also be cool to see a cloverleaf.

biogal: Thank-you. I fixed them.

NYRfan85: Yes, I was planning on making those.

DarkMeasures: What do you mean by shoulders? I shall try that and see if I like it. I was also planning on making a cloverleaf.

Simpleplantb: Thanx!

Great work, this set could become huge if planned properly. With all different up ramps, intersections, traffic lights, fences, lights, cars, bridges and many more. I would suggest at looking at making your paces smaller i.e. you have large highway pieces in your pictures and from what I can see that means you only have one possibility at the width of the road, if you had 1x1 tile road pieces that could also be added and also have larger ones to reduce lag then this would add great customability.

surfingoz: Thanx. I'll take your suggetion on the sizes into consideration.

zmanatr: Thanx!

weasel497: I'm planning on making some curves.

I have a cloverleaf, the sign pole, and the interstate sign modeled, but I'm having importing issues.

P.S. I've seem to have forgotten the billboard SID's. Could you remind me?

*psst* Make a five way intersection. Haha, no kidding I've seen those. Great set, now people who pay attention to detail can build freeways around their parks...or disguise a go-kart track.

That bus is hogging more than an entire lane! Some drivers they just drive the... oh ya, anyway, this set is great and may become a major thing. I propably won't use it until it is extended to at least 15 pieces, but I love it! Tip- you might want to use more of a concrete texture rather than having a black-top highway

741852963951753: I used the concrete texture that was used on the barriers and used my image editor to put a trasperent black over the texture and put white lines on top. So I don't see the need to change it unless you really want me to.

Sorry for double posting.

I have not gotten to do anything yet. (Today) But since it is a long weekend I will definitly get some update(s).

Until then,
See ya!
