there is a lingenfelter that goes better than that. i am not sure of the excact, but i think it hits like 245 in a standing 1/4 mile.

ok until i see proof i dont believe it, and a quarter mile i doubt it if it does its definatly not street legal in which this supra is and these cars do not run on slicks this was using 18 inch wide street tires. so when u post offical results from something i can trust ill believe it until then this car is the standing mile champ beating out tt'd vipers ford gts and many highend cars highly modified cars

first of all dude, chill the hell out. you dont need to get mean. lol and i WAS wrong. the lingenfelter only hit 224. its on youtube. type in lingenfelter top speed.

either way they are both still sick cars

sorry about that its just no on believes it sry again if i came of mean, and yeah both of theses cars are amazing 224 amd 228 in a standing mile is incredible

guess what its not a specification to be a production car to run for standing mile record unless of course you are running for production standing mile

Wow, Can we say that someone is a little sensitive. It's not like it is hard to specially design a car to perform a certain way. I will take a drag car out to see if I can beat the standing mile. This is a subjective topic. Don't believe all the hype. All that I am saying is that you can make any vehicle perform a certain way if you tune it right. That is why comparing this custom car to a production car is subjective. I can take the Lingenfelter or Hennessy and make it faster by simple reprogramming to take advantage of the computer controlled systems in cars these days. It may not get good gas mileage but it will kick butt for the purpose that I have programmed it for.

well if you can make it faster you might want to tell lingenfelter and hennessy that because they lost to this.

Henesseys still look cooler. Also they have a top speed that pwns a Veryon.

pwn is a complete overstatement it goes like 1-2 miles per hour faster. the veyron is a enginering materpiece 2 v 8's a 4 turbos they could have been lazy like henessey and took abig engine but they wanted to be different from everyother supercar and be unique. and also the veyron is a luxury car that does 254 i dont see a luxurios viper doing 250+. and third of all learn to spell its camaro not camero

2-v8s blah people have been putting 2 v-12s together (V-24

), so 2 v-8s is nothing. plus it way to expensive for the average guy. aleast the Hennessey is about 1 mil cheaper.

On a side note people are right you are a bit testy.
