[REL] Office Day (Update)

I don't have much to say. Another CSO with walls and windows and stuff to create office buildings:

Of course there will be more. Details are missing. I built the building for testing purposes only. Tell me what I can do better.

I hope Vodhin won't mind that I'm creating a similar set to his current ones.

Aww, too bad there isn't a site where you can enter words and it searches for them inside the whole internet so you can easily reach any information ... wait ...

Wow this looks great! Each of the tiles looks really intricate! When do you think you will release this or is it too far to tell.

Finally another set by you. And again something really useful, not like many of the sets released in the last time^^

You know by fact that I am going to use these often.
Great work so far!
Are there going to be transparency issues, similar to Xistic's Office Walls?

Nice work! I've been waiting for some more office building sets. If I can make a suggestion, I'd like to see some new roofs, and parapets, to match the curves of your walls and stuff.

Looking forward to this set!

Oh, this is so cool! I really could use something like this, especially if I ever do decide to make that Mirror's Edge coaster that I want to make. And more office walls are always nice, especially considering how limited the in-game ones are. This should come in handy! I would agree with NYRfan that you should probably have some roofs that match the curvature of the walls, but I know you aren't quite done yet. I'll bet there are some pieces you haven't shown us yet.

Not at all My working project is geared toward the "Googie" style from the 1950's and 60's -far from the modern design you're putting together, though they will probably complement each other in ways you and I will never foresee...

One little bit of help I might offer you is that all my pieces in the set I'm developing are multiples of 4 units high (to accomodate the elevator ride), with floors at 0.025, ceilings at 0.5 (enough room for elevated paths to be hidden), and roof bottoms (uppermost ceilings) at 0.0

nice set Damatze.... I highly doubt Vodhin will think you are copying his googie set. pieces are far different, even though there are some similarity between them in the fact that is glass structures.

dangit vodhin ya beat me to it......

Looks very realistic and useful.
I'll just say it's a "DasMatze" quality.
I couldn't fill in the quotes with anything negative.

It's possible to create far more complex buildings. I'm just that bad at building in RCT3. No comments to that statement, please.

Like 99,99% of all user created projects: I don't know, it will be released when it's done.

No. If the Office Walls from Xcistics hadn't these problem I wouldn't have started this set I guess.

Of course. And there will be probably like the ones from the soaked office buildings.

And you catched that style really well.

Thanks! I guess you mean -0.5 at the ceilings, right? So that:
----- 0.025 Floors
----- 0.00 Roof
----- -0.5 Ceiling

---------------------------------------------------------------

Four floors: Entrance tiles (with reflection), rubber, carpet 1 and carpet 2:

But these are not done. I'm not satisfied with them. The dots on the carpet have to be smaller. Unfortunately I cannot make the rubber and carpet floors with less intensive contrast and recolorable at the same time. So they won't be recolorable (like the carpet is right now) or they'll look really bumpy and unsmooth.

I also have to create wallcovers (one side planes to hide the wall beneath (if there won't be problems with the z-axis movement)) for the inside. If that won't work or is really inconvenient I will half the thickness of the walls and create some for the inner side.

This set is incredible. I'm not sure what I would need it for currently but guaranteed I'll download it just because you made it!

nice, it looks very nice , i see you have curved pieces, but is there going to be inside curves ? you could put the normal curve the other way around maybe but you would still need the other half of the floor piece

what do you plan for roofs?
